The story is centered on the quest of Lord Anthony Bridgerton for the ideal wife. Despite trying hard, he cannot find that one ideal woman who can be the perfect match for him. But, there is a valid reason for that. He has set unrealistic high standards, and fitting into all the criteria set by Lord Anthony is nearly impossible for anyone. However, Lord Anthony comes across Edwina Sharma from India, and a romantic relationship sets off.
However, Edwina’s sister Kate is suspicious about the intentions of Lord Anthony, and she suspects that he wants someone in his life as a partner who will help him to get benefitted monetarily. Also, Lady Whistledown is another character who will feature in the series with her intentions to cause scandals. How will their relationship end after all?
