Where Can I Watch The Bachelorette: Season 19 (2022)?

The Bachelorette 2022 is going for broke when it comes to love. Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia will star as the series’ stars in Season 19 on ABC. And we’ve already had a glimpse of their possible suitors!

The Bachelorette news came at the end of Clayton Echard’s tumultuous search for love on The Bachelor 2022 finale. Clayton dumped Gabby and Rachel (at the same moment!) in order to pursue Susie, but he was dumped as well. In the conclusion, it was revealed that he and Susie reconciled, but not before Gabby and Rachel dragged him cruelly.

The audience was clearly pulling for the two women, and they erupted in applause when host Jesse Palmer stated that they would both be the future Bachelorettes at the same time. This isn’t like season 11 when Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson were both in contention for the top spot. Kaitlyn has crowned Bachelorette when the men voted for her.

Instead, Gabby and Rachel will spend the entire 19th season of The Bachelorette together. How is that going to work? Will the contestants be the same this time? Will they have to compete for a man (again)? We have a lot of questions, but few answers.

Here’s what we know so far about The Bachelorette 2022.

The show’s premiere in July is uncommon for the show, which usually premieres in late May. The pandemic, on the other hand, threw everything into disarray. Season 16 with Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams premiered in October 2020, and two Bachelorette seasons aired the previous year. Katie Thurston’s premiere was in June, and Michelle Young’s was in October.

The Bachelorette usually ran from late May through early August, when Bachelor in Paradise took over the ABC time slot. With Season 19 debuting in July, Bachelor in Paradise 2022 will most likely air in September.

Gabby Windey, a 31-year-old ICU nurse in Denver, Colorado, is known as Gabby. She had spent five years as a Denver Broncos cheerleader. She was the first female and NFL cheerleader to earn the Pop Warner Humanitarian Award in 2021 for her acts of service on the front lines of the pandemic.

The official bio for ABC is as follows:

Gabby Windey is a lot more than she appears. She is not just attractive, but she also possesses a great deal of substance, emotional depth, and a wide range of life experiences. Windy seeks a man who exudes serene confidence. She doesn’t have a physical type but believes it’s a hard pass if he doesn’t have a personality.

Her ideal man will push her, convey his feelings, and try hard to balance the relationship’s weight. Is there anything she won’t give up? Windey and her Goldendoodle, Leonardo, are a package deal, so whoever wins her heart must also make room in their lives for her four-legged pal. Windy would like to find a boyfriend, but she isn’t the sort to get lost in a relationship. She wants to find a partner who would adore her for who she is: a strong, independent woman.

Rachel Recchia, a pilot by profession and flight instructor from Clermont, Florida, is 26 years old. She is a huge Harry Potter enthusiast and a Chicago Cubs supporter, having grown up in the Windy City.

    ABC’s official bio reads:

Rachel Recchia is a courageous frequent traveler on the lookout for a companion to accompany her across the globe. Recchia’s future looks bright after she recently earned her private pilot’s license, and she’s now looking for a co-pilot who shares her spirit of adventure. She’s looking for someone who is as lively, passionate, and spontaneous as she is, as a hopeless romantic. He must be nurturing, compassionate, and courteous in all aspects of his life, including to her, his family, and especially to waiters. Recchia’s ultimate goal is to find crazy, mad love that makes sense only to her and her soul partner.

There has never been a program in the Bachelor franchise with two leads at the same time. The guys voted for a winner, while Kaitlyn and Britt were like nominees for the part. Clare started the season, but Tayshia took her place when she immediately decided on Dale.

So far, Gabby and Windey appear to be OK with being The Bachelorettes together.

“I’m delighted for her, honestly ecstatic. This is insane, this is insane. I’m optimistic about going on this adventure with you. Rachel said during the After the Final Rose special, “We did it once together and we’ve been through the craziest experience together.”

They also published an Instagram message saying they “couldn’t be more excited to have each other on this adventure to find love” (opens in new tab).

But how is this going to work in practice? We do not yet know much about it so far, save that it’s not a Kaitlyn vs. Britt issue. They’ll both be present throughout the season.

The closest parallel we can think of is the recent season of Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer, in which two guys dated 18 women. Both men would go on group dates at the start of the show. As the number of ladies reduced, one man would go out with a group of women while the other went out with a separate group. Early on in the process, the women’s preferences for the two males were established.

Gabby and Rachel are experiencing something similar. Although they both fell in love with Clayton, their personalities are very different, and they may be drawn to other suitors. Alternatively, they could both fall for the same guy, who is interested in both of them and must choose between them.
