Day 3 of Netflix’s Geeked Week included Entergalactic, an original animated tale about a young artist named Jabari that was produced by Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi and Kenya Barris.
Fletcher Moules, whose credits include Clash of Clans: Revenge and others, directed the animated series. Together with Ian Edelman and Kenya Barris, Cudi devised the idea. 2019 saw the initial announcement of Entergalactic.
The protagonist of entergalactic is a young artist named Jabari who seeks to strike a balance between love and success. Finding the latter gets Jabari one step closer to finding the former as he settles into his ideal apartment and meets his new neighbor, Jessica Williams’s spoken photographer it girl Meadow. Entergalactic, an explosion of art, music, and fashion, takes place in New York, the only metropolis capable of accommodating all three.
Is “Entergalactic” based on a true story?
“Entergalactic” is an animated fictional story. The premiere date for Entergalatic, a forthcoming animated comedy by Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi and Kenya Barris, has been revealed by Netflix. Entergalatic will make its streaming platform debut in September and tell the tale of two artists struggling to make ends meet in New York City. A brief film displaying the series’ distinctive animated aesthetic was used to make the news.
Kid Cudi’s voiceover for the young artist Jabari is included in the thirty-second short. Jabari lights up and inhales deeply while puffing smoke in the trailer. The smoke morphs into the series logo at this point. Jabari is slouching on a couch while watching TV, and when we look at the screen, we can see the cartoon series’ credits and its premiere date. It’s also interesting to note how Jabari’s little bedside table is piled high with paint cans, suggesting that he uses graffiti to express himself.
Additionally, there are several card boxes on the floor of Jabari’s flat, which tease the Entergalatic saga. The program will follow Jabari as he relocates to New York City and meets Meadow, a photographer’s it-girl, who is also an artist (voiced by Jessica Williams). In one of the world’s largest cities, Jabari and Meadow will examine love and self-expression together. The trailer also provides additional examples of Entergalatic’s distinctive imagery, which is animated in slow frames to resemble paintings. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait too long before Entergalatic comes out. The series is looking fantastic.
In addition to creating the series and providing the voice of one of the major characters, Kid Cudi also wrote a brand-new album full of unique songs for Entergalatic. Timothée Chalamet, Ty Dolla $ign, Laura Harrier, Vanessa Hudgens, Christopher Abbott, 070 Shake, Jaden Smith, Keith David, Teyana Taylor, Arturo Castro, and Macaulay Culkin are among the series’ impressive voice cast.
Fletcher Moules is the director of Entergalatic, while Ian Edelman and Maurice Williams are the authors. Together with Kenya Barris, Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi, Karina Manashil, and Dennis Cummings, the group executive produces. The series is animated by DNEG, a VFX company that has worked on films including Pacific Rim Uprising, Jungle Cruise, and Dune.
On September 30, Netflix will release Entergalatic.
