Top 60 Fantasy Anime Of All Time

For many of us, anime is a way of escaping reality. It’s a teleporter that allows us to live in a world created by someone’s imagination and experiences. This imagination is very well fictional, yet feels so real. And it is this imaginary and fictional world from a brilliant artist that gives us the experience that we couldn’t have had otherwise.

In the popular mind, fantasy is often associated with medieval times, castles, and long-bearded wizards, but anime explores many sub-genres of fantasy. There is so much to learn and even more to love about this rich and complex genre, ranging from dark fantasy to contemporary fantasy.

Fantasy has the advantage of being able to incorporate elements of other major genres such as romance, comedy, and even horror. Furthermore, it is easily adapted to any age range, allowing you to choose a lighthearted kid-friendly series or a darker anime with more mature content.

Anime has always been known for its stories filled with fantastical elements. Anime frequently features vampires, demons, and magic, whether they are inspired by feudal Japanese folklore or from other cultures.

There are so many sub-genres in fantasy anime that there is something for everyone, and here are some of the best. Out of all the fantasy anime out there, we have selected the top 60 that would give you an experience you would remember forever.

    Shingeki no Kyojin

    Shingeki no Kyojin

Humanity had been nearly destroyed centuries ago when monstrous humanoid creatures called titans forced people to hide behind concentric walls out of fear. One of the things that makes these giants so terrifying is that their appetite for human flesh is not born of hunger but seems to be out of pleasure.

For survival purposes, humanity erected defensive barriers, leading to one hundred years without encounters with titans. The battle against the man-eating monsters is restarted after a colossal titan breaches the supposedly impregnable outer wall.

As a result of a horrific loss suffered at the hands of the invading creatures, Eren Yeager has dedicated his life to exterminating them and has enlisted in the Survey Corps, a unit of elite military soldiers tasked with combatting the merciless humanoids outside of the city walls.

In Shingeki no Kyojin, Eren and his adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman, along with his childhood friend Armin Arlert, are caught up in a war against the titans and have to defeat them before their final walls are breached.

With Shingeki no Kyojin, you have a well-done series that has all the key points that we all want our anime to have. It is an incredible anime. It is one of the most interesting stories you will ever see.

Characters are one of the anime’s strongest points. Each character in this series fights for humanity for various reasons.

Betrayal, trust, friendship, and pain are all interconnected. There are many comic relief characters in the story. The characters are definitely relatable, as they want to protect their friends but are unable to do so because of fear. We are all plagued by fear, which prevents us from doing things in life.

    Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

    Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

Edward and Alphonse Elric find themselves in a catastrophic new reality after an alchemy experiment goes wrong. In defiance of the alchemical principle banning human transmutation, the boys attempted to bring their recently deceased mother back to life.

They instead suffered brutal personal losses: Alphonse’s body fell apart, and Edward lost a leg before sacrificing an arm to keep Alphonse’s soul in the human realm by binding it to a hulking suit of armor.

They are rescued by their neighbor Pinako Rockbell and her granddaughter Winry. Winry is a prodigy in biomechanical engineering and uses automail, a tough, versatile material used in robots and combat armor, to create prosthetic limbs for Edward. The Elric brothers set out after years of training to locate the Philosopher’s Stone-a powerful jewel that permits an alchemist to defy the traditional laws of Equivalent Exchange.

During Edward’s journey to becoming an infamous alchemist and earning the nickname “Fullmetal,” the boys become embroiled in a growing conspiracy that threatens the fate of the world.

As there has been no filler in this series, the story does not lose momentum. Each episode is a concise part of the vast plot, and every scene is significant. Less explanation is given, and the dialogue is direct.

In addition to the Elric brothers’ story, there are many side stories explored, but all of them perfectly intertwine with it and, more often than not, directly affect it. It is not uncommon for anime series to omit moments from the manga, but these are usually just comical.

You can tell how much the story and characters captivate you by how short each episode feels.

    Hunter x Hunter (2011)

    Hunter x Hunter (2011)

The world of Hunter x Hunter is filled with hunters who live to perform dangerous tasks like capturing criminals and seeking lost treasures in uncharted territory. Gon Freecss, twelve, is determined to become the best Hunter possible in order to find his lost father, who was a Hunter himself but abandoned his son a long time ago. The path to achieving Gon’s goals is, however, far more difficult than he ever imagined.

As Gon prepares to become a Hunter, he makes friends with the energetic doctor-in-training Leorio, the vengeful Kurapika, and the rebellious ex-assassin Killua. Together, they take the Hunter Exam, a test notorious for its low success rate and high likelihood of death, together in order to achieve their own goals and desires.

Throughout their journey, Gon and his friends face many hardships and challenges. In the process of learning what it takes to become a Hunter, they will run into a variety of monsters, creatures, and characters.

This series is not merely about finding one’s father, but also about the journey that was taken to get there. In HxH, there are a number of well-written arcs. It has one of the best scripts in the shounen genre; the depth and flow of its story, the captivating characters, and the vivid world-building create a story that can captivate its audience for hours on end.

HxH’s story is impressive because of its variety. The six story arcs of HxH span a variety of genres. Aside from that, the series is also capable of undergoing significant tonal shifts with ease. The series does a great job of keeping viewers interested. As you watch the episodes, you’ll have breezed through most of them.

    No Game No Life

    No Game No Life

The story is about shut-in NEET siblings Sora and Shiro, the online gamer duo behind the username “Blank.” They see the real world as just another lousy game, but a mysterious e-mail challenging the pair to a chess match changes everything-they are sucked into an otherworldly realm where they meet Tet, the God of Games.

Sora and Shiro are welcomed to Disboard by the mysterious god, a world where all conflicts-from small squabbles to the fate of entire countries are resolved through games rather than war.

The system works by requiring each party to wager something they deem to be of equal value to the other party’s wager. It is here in this strange land where humanity has been reduced to child’s play that the indifferent genius gamer duo of Shiro and Sora can finally find a reason to keep playing games: uniting Disboard’s sixteen races, defeating Tet, and becoming the Gods of this new world where gaming is everything.

In order to provide entertainment, despite the seriousness of the siblings’ quest, the show often pokes fun at itself through its characters, concepts, and jokes. It is rarely more fun to watch someone else play a game than to play one yourself. In any case, this show makes you feel like you’re part of the adventure.

By deconstructing game tropes, this anime offers a fantasy adventure through an experimental medium. Frequently, the show mocks itself through culture, rules, and just about anything else it can get its hands on. While the show doesn’t avoid its clichés, it finds a way to parody them with clever comedic execution.

Sora and Shiro are undoubtedly the focus in the character department since they are the series’ protagonists, and they do not disappoint.

    One Piece

    One Piece

Gol D. Roger, the Pirate King, was known as one of the most infamous and strongest beings to have sailed the Grand Line. With Roger’s capture and execution by the World Government, a new era began. One Piece, the world’s greatest treasure, was revealed in his last words before his death.

As a result of this discovery, the Grand Age of Pirates began, a time of men dreaming of finding One Piece, which promises untold riches and fame, and perhaps the pinnacle of glory and the title of Pirate King.

It’s Monkey D. Luffy, a 17-year-old boy who defies your idea of what a pirate is. The reason Luffy wants to become a pirate is not that of a wicked, hardened, toothless pirate who ravages villages for fun; it is the desire for an exciting adventure that will lead him to intriguing people and ultimately, the treasure.

Following the path of his childhood hero, Luffy and his crew journey across the Grand Line, experiencing crazy adventures, unraveling dark mysteries and facing powerful adversaries, all in pursuit of the most coveted of all fortunes–One Piece.

With each new member that Luffy discovers, you will fall in love. They’re all very well-developed, with intriguing backstories and unique personalities. While striving to achieve their dreams, the crew is always on the lookout for adventures. There are also new minor characters appearing in the main storylines, and they’re as interesting and engaging as the Straw Hat crew.

It does not feel like the characters are ignored or that they are there for no reason. In One Piece, each character contributes to the storyline, and these ‘purposes’ often resurface in later episodes.

    Kenpuu Denki Berserk

    Kenpuu Denki Berserk

Born from his mother’s corpse, Guts is a young mercenary who views the battlefield as his only chance at survival. Day after day, he sacrifices everything he has just to get by, moving from one bloodshed to another.

Griffith, nicknamed the “White Hawk,” recruits Guts after he encounters the Band of the Hawk, a mercenary band. As he quickly climbs the ranks and becomes the head of Griffith’s offensive force, Guts proves to be a valuable addition to Griffith’s force, taking Midland by storm. As the band’s quest for recognition continues, Guts slowly realizes the world is not as black-and-white as he once thought.

In Kenpuu Denki Berserk, a story set in the medieval era, a man struggles to find his own path, while supporting someone else’s lust for power, and the unimaginable tragedy that begins to turn the wheels of fate.

The story is set in a world filled with evil and brutality, dreams and despair, with people struggling to define who they are in the midst of it all and define what their lives mean. Love and friendship are slow to arrive, but when they do it will bring tears to your eyes, since the relationships forged in Berserk are more meaningful than nearly any you’ll find in anime.

This anime’s story and characters are its greatest strengths. Berserk’s world is vibrant as the story and characters grow simultaneously. Here, most of the typical anime cliches are avoided, which really improves the story and characters. Berserk has a unique and lively world that conveys a lot of realism for an anime.

    Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu

    ReZero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu

As Subaru Natsuki leaves the convenience store, the last thing he anticipates is to be ripped from his normal life and thrown into the fantasy world. He is bewildered and things don’t look good when he arrives, but soon after, he is attacked by thugs. Only armed with a bag of groceries and a now useless phone, he is beaten to a pulp.

Satella, a mysterious beauty on the hunt for the one who stole her insignia, stumbles upon Subaru and saves him. The kindhearted Subaru offers to help the girl in her search, and later that night, he even locates the object of her search. Subaru and Satella find the insignia, but a much darker force hunts them from the shadows, and just minutes later they are brutally murdered.

Subaru reawakens to the same scene in which he faces the very same thugs, as well as Satella all over again. As history repeats itself, the enigma becomes more apparent.

Subaru’s story continues to change with each new life, sometimes dramatically so. Many new elements are revealed to him along the way that helps him to solve the problems he faces and move forward.

Each life brings something new to the anime, which keeps it interesting and fresh. Also, Subaru’s situation seems to worsen with each passing plot arc, which brings an increased level of intensity to the anime that keeps you entertained.

Many of the characters in Re:Zero seem to fall into generic character categories at first glance. The anime’s cast, however, appears to change as it progresses, becoming far more dynamic, unique, and sometimes even lovable along the way.

    Akame ga Kill!

    Akame ga Kill!

The Night Raid refers to the assassination arm of the Revolutionary Army, an uprising against Honest, who has taken advantage of the child emperor’s inexperience due to his avarice and greed for power. It is impossible for a nation to rise out of poverty, strife, and ruin without a strong and benevolent leader.

While the Night Raid members are experienced killers, they recognize that taking lives is far from commendable, and they will most likely be retaliated against as they kill anyone who stands in their way.

Tatsumi is the latest addition to this merry band of assassins, a naive youth from a rural village who set out to help his hometown and was won over by their ideals and resolve as well. As Tatsumi battles the Empire, he comes face-to-face with powerful weapons, enemy assassins, challenges to his own morals and values, and ultimately, he learns what it is to be an assassin with a cause.

Akame Ga Kill! immediately takes you by surprise. Although it appears to be an innocent anime, it is extremely bloody and pulls at your heartstrings.

There is a real-world feel to the anime. This is not surprising in real life when the protagonists are assassins, but most anime do not create impossible situations that cause people to die. This is not the case with Akame ga Kill.

The characters are unique and likable. There is something special about each one. The fact that characters will die and suffer a lot prior to death shouldn’t surprise anyone, and therefore this connection of liking is a key means by which this anime manipulates your emotions.

    Nanatsu no Taizai

    Nanatsu no Taizai

Holy Knights of Britannia use formidable magic to protect the region of Britannia and its kingdoms in a world that is similar to the European Middle Ages. One small subset of the Knights, however, allegedly turned their blades against their comrades, trying to overthrow the ruler of Liones.

Despite being defeated by the Holy Knights, rumors persisted that these legendary knights, known as the “Seven Deadly Sins,” were still alive. Ten years later, the Holy Knights staged a coup d’état themselves, and thus came to be the tyrannical rulers of the Kingdom of Liones.

Throughout Nanatsu no Taizai, Elizabeth, the third princess of Liones, is on the hunt for the Seven Deadly Sins. She strives not only to regain her kingdom from the Holy Knights, but also to seek justice in an unjust world with their help.

In terms of pacing, the narrative follows the typical format of battle after battle while gradually introducing each of the main characters and developing the plot. A beautiful story that goes beyond the commonplace good-guy-vs-bad-guy cliche. The series asserts that there is no such thing as ‘good’ or ‘bad.’ As the story unfolds, over time, each character is revealed to have varying degrees of flaws and selfishness.

Taizai has a lot of characters, many of which have some interesting characterizations and some development. This show is so entertaining due to both the personalities of the characters and their interactions.

There are many unique scenarios, purposeful character explorations, a complete narrative, and themes of sin and atonement in this story. Hilarity abounds, as well as clashes between characters.

    Ao no Exorcist

    Ao no Exorcist

In the same way that Assiah and Gehenna, their respective worlds, are two sides of the same coin, so are humans and demons. Possession is the only means of traveling between realms, just like in ghost stories. The ruler of Gehenna, Satan, is unable to find a suitable host to possess, so he remains imprisoned in his world.

To conquer Assiah, he sends his son, intending for him to eventually become a vessel capable of being possessed by the demon king.

In Ao no Exorcist, it tells the story of Rin Okumura, an ordinary, somewhat troublesome teenager who, one day, is ambushed by demons. Upon finding out that he is in fact the son of Satan, and that his demon father wishes for him to return, his world turns upside down.

As Rin does not want to join Gehenna’s king, he begins to train as an exorcist in order to defend Assiah with his brother Yukio.

The storyline with respect to the characters and their motivations is actually believable. This isn’t some far-fetched idea with characters who have no relation to the plot. As a result of the way Ao no Exorcist’s story is intertwined with and through the characters is very realistic, and this makes the story very enjoyable to watch.

Rin has a well-developed character who stays true to his motivations and personality. His character supports his actions and vice versa. He wants to become stronger and deny his demon self because he was not brought up in a demon-like way, and the demons have harmed his family. He provides comic relief with his slacker attitude. The story is extremely compelling, and the characters are funny and genuine.

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!

Kazuma Satou, a reclusive high school student, dies a laughable and pathetic death while returning from buying a game and finds himself seated in front of Aqua, a beautiful but obnoxious goddess. There are two options for the NEET: Continue on to heaven or become part of every gamer’s fantasy world!

Having decided to start a new life, Kazuma is quickly tasked with defeating a Demon King who is terrorizing villages. Before he departs, he must select one item of any kind to aid him in his quest, and the future hero selects Aqua. The problem is that Aqua is useless. Kazuma has made a grave mistake.

Unfortunately, their troubles do not end here; it turns out that living in such a world is entirely different from how it appears in a game. They must first earn money to pay for their living expenses instead of embarking on an exciting adventure. Unfortunately, their misfortunes have only just begun!

Unlike other shows that tell great stories or explore philosophy and other themes, KonoSuba focuses on pure entertainment! This niche comedy has genuinely hilarious moments, while parodying any flaws it has. You can’t be sure if all the “flaws” it has are on purpose or not, so there isn’t much to criticize.

It’s over the top, but it executes its quirkiness in a way that’s funny and lighthearted. Rather than pursuing a serious story, it makes fun of stereotypes, including character tropes and MMO characteristics. KonoSuba is an excellent anime to just sit down and relax to.

    Soul Eater

    Soul Eater

There is a famous technical academy in Death City called the Death Weapon Meister Academy run by the Shinigami – Lord Death himself. Their mission: to raise “Death Scythes” for the Shinigami to use against the many evils of their fantastical world.

However, Death Scythes are not made from physical weapons; rather, they are created by human hybrids that are able to change their bodies into Demon Weapons after consuming the souls of 99 evil beings and one witch.

Soul Eater Evans, a Demon Scythe only interested in what’s cool, wants to become a Death Scythe in partnership with Maka Albarn, his straight-laced meister. Together, they work alongside the Black Star and his devoted weapon Tsubaki as well as Death the Kid, the Shinigami’s own son, an obsessive-compulsive dual wielder who carries twin pistols named Patty and Liz.

In Soul Eater, Shibusen students go on missions to collect souls and protect the city from threats around the world, while working together under a snickering sun to become stronger in mind, body, and soul.

It sounds pretty formulaic, nothing you haven’t heard before. In the first few episodes, this seems to be the main objective, but soon you will begin to see a deeper story unfolding. Although Soul Eater isn’t a complex or clever story, what happens during the story makes it interesting and watchable. There is always action, and there is humor, but there can also be serious moments when necessary.

In this anime, the characters are the heart of the story. Soul Eater is renowned for its characters. The cast is colorful. Even the supporting cast is memorable. Almost every character gives you at least one reason for liking or disliking them.

    Violet Evergarden

    Violet Evergarden

Eventually, after four long years of conflict, the Great War was over. Fragmented in two, the continent of Telesis began to flourish once more. Violet Evergarden, a young girl raised solely for the purpose of decimating enemy lines, got caught up in the bloodshed. She was hospitalized and injured in a bloody skirmish during the War’s last phase, leaving her with only words from her closest person, but without any understanding of their meaning.

In the aftermath of a falling out with her new guardian family, Violet starts a new life at CH Postal Services after recovering from her injuries. She witnessed by pure chance the work of an “Auto Memory Doll,” a penman that transcribes the thoughts and feelings of others into words on paper. Violet is moved by the idea and begins working as an Auto Memory Doll, a trade that will take her on an adventure and hopefully allow her to discover herself.

Our lives are not meant to be rushed; every happy moment must be cherished, every hardship must be accepted, and each of us has our own battle to fight. As a result, the pace is slow, which is appropriate for Violet’s development and our characters. Combining the beautifully composed OST with subtle visuals to accompany the characters’ stories, the emotional atmosphere evokes raw emotion in viewers.

Essentially, it’s a love letter to life, a lesson about overcoming obstacles and moving forward. As with wine, it gets better with age.

In this show, Violet is the main character with those who appear from episode to episode receiving extra character development. It stands out for its well-written stories and concise characters. As a result, viewers are able to feel satiated.

    Fate/Zero

    Fate Zero

Due to its promise to grant any wish, the omnipotent Holy Grail triggered three wars in the past, each too brutal and fierce to end in victory. However, even with that, the wealthy Einzbern family is confident that the Fourth Holy Grail War will be different, since they now possess a vessel of the Holy Grail. Kiritsugu Emiya, the notorious “Magus Killer,” is hired by the Einzberns for this reason, with the marriage of their only daughter Irisviel as the contract.

A battle for survival has now begun between Kiritsugu and six other participants, each armed with a familiar fueled by unique desires and ideals. Along with his familiar, Saber, the notorious mercenary finds his greatest opponent in Kirei Kotomine, a priest looking to find salvation from the emptiness within himself as he pursues Kiritsugu.

It’s a battle royale where no one can be guaranteed to survive.

Fate/Zero might seem like another action anime at first glance, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Even though the series assumes some familiarity with the franchise, it has a much tighter plot when compared to its predecessors, as well as more focus on preparation, planning and even dialogue between the different parties.

In this way, the story has a lot more depth and structure than you might expect in a supernatural action anime, and there are layers of subtext that appear throughout.

Fate/Zero has the distinct advantage of presenting a much more mature story than the original visual novel or its adaptations, and unlike many other shows, the characters rarely engage in pointless conflicts or endeavors.

Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka

Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka

It is never dull in the bustling city of Orario, especially for Bell Cranel, a naive young man who dreams of becoming the greatest adventurer in the land. His dreams become closer to reality after a chance encounter with the lonely goddess, Hestia.

With her support, Bell goes on an incredible quest as he explores the city’s horror-filled catacombs known only as the “Dungeon.” Death lurks at every corner in this terrifying labyrinth, and a mysterious force is at work.

Survival is a hard-earned privilege, even on the surface. It is true that nothing is ever certain in a world where gods and humans live and work together, especially when they often fight. It is certain, however, that the dauntlessly optimistic protagonist of this herculean tale will endure a myriad of mishaps, triumphs, and friendships.

The steamy action and fights are the only things DanMachi does not lack. While the fights are full of ups and downs, they are also full of impact and development. It is there for plot development, and it will always be there for character growth and development.

It is one of DanMachi’s strongest points, along with its story and a large pool of interesting characters. Various events and stories make DanMachi more interesting to watch, as we can expect more twists and turns in its future episodes.

Bell is a loveable character, mainly because we can relate to him as someone who gives their best to everything they do. Throughout the series, Bell’s relationships and development also flourish one after another, and he doesn’t remain indecisive and meek until the very end.

    Overlord

    Overlord

The popular virtual reality game Yggdrasil has reached its final hour. With the servers starting to shut down, Momonga, a powerful wizard and master of Ainz Ooal Gown, decides to spend his last few minutes playing the game. Despite the clock striking midnight, Momonga is still fully conscious as his character and, moreover, the non-player characters have personalities of their own!

Faced with this abnormal situation, Momonga orders his servants to investigate and take control of this new world in order to figure out what has caused it and if others are in the same predicament.

It follows the same aspects as many other MMO animes out there, except that it does it right, with an impressive plot that holds your attention.

We finally have a protagonist who does not act as would be morally right, but how he will reap the greatest benefits. As for the world around him, it does not conveniently make all of his opponents into cartoonish evil, so killing them and taking everything they possess is justifiable.

Due to its strong fantasy setting, a cast of interesting characters, and a slightly darker story, Overlord successfully hooks its viewers. Although the storyline is sometimes slow, the fight scenes are usually worth it.

Characters on the show are diverse, but the viewer gets a good sense of each one. Considering the show’s short run time of 13 episodes, this is quite a feat. If you enjoy animes that have badass main characters and moments that keep you on the edge, then Overlord is a great choice.

    Black Clover

    Black Clover

On the same day, Asta and Yuno were abandoned at the same church. The children were raised together and knew of the “Wizard King”—a title given to the strongest mage in the kingdom—and made a promise that they would compete for the position.

Their stark differences became apparent as they grew up. The difference between Yuno and Asta is that Yuno is able to wield magic with incredible power and control, while Asta cannot use magic at all and is trying hard to activate his powers through physical training.

Yuno is bestowed a magnificent Grimoire with a four-leaf clover when he reaches the age of 15, but Asta does not. Yuno is attacked shortly afterward by a person named Lebuty, whose main aim is to steal Yuno’s Grimoire. When Asta tries to fight Lebuty he is outmatched.

While he is without hope and on the verge of defeat, he finds the strength to continue when he hears Yuno’s voice. With his inner emotions fanned out in rage, Asta is granted a five-leaf clover Grimoire, a “Black Clover” that gives him the power to defeat Lebuty. After a few days, the two friends set out for the world, seeking the same goal-to become the Wizard King!

Asta’s story is well written and extremely satisfying. You feel like you have been on this journey with him all along. Everybody loves an underdog story. Certainly nothing competes with Black Clover.

A boy without magic and his rival, a boy with amazing magic, must compete against each other as the Wizard King journey begins. Asta and Yuno’s rivalry may feel similar, but it is also refreshing. The Magic Knights’ squads and personalities are refreshingly different.

    Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari

    Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari

There are Four Cardinal Heroes, a group of ordinary men from modern-day Japan who are summoned to the kingdom of Melromarc to rescue it. It has been plagued by the Waves of Catastrophe that have repeatedly ravaged the land and brought disaster to its citizens for centuries.

In order to defeat these Waves, four heroes are equipped with swords, spears, bows, and shields. Otaku Naofumi Iwatani becomes cursed with being known as the “Shield Hero.” Armed only with a meager shield, Naofumi is ridiculed by his fellow heroes as well as the people of the kingdom.

To train with, the heroes are provided with resources and comrades, so Naofumi sets out with the only one who will train with him, Malty Melromarc. She soon betrays him, however, and he is falsely accused of taking advantage of her. The people of Melromarc then heavily discriminate against and hate Naofumi for something he didn’t do.

Amidst the raging storm of hurt and mistrust in his heart, Naofumi begins his journey to improve himself and his reputation. Further along, Naofumi finds it increasingly difficult to be on his own, so he purchases Raphtalia, a demi-human slave who is on the verge of death, to accompany him.

In the face of the Waves approaching the kingdom, Naofumi and Raphtalia will need to fight for their lives and to protect the people of Melromarc from their ill-fated future.

In its genre, this is one of the Isekais that has distinguished itself from the rest. The main character is not overpowered right from the start, and it is gratifying to watch how Naofumi turns the tide by clearing his name, and gaining allies along the way.

    Howl no Ugoku Shiro

    Howl no Ugoku Shiro

As smoke billows from that jumbled piece of architecture that moves on its own, you hear the cacophony of hissing steam and creaking joints. The castle is home to the magnificent wizard Howl, infamous in Sophie Hatter’s small town for both his magical prowess and being a womanizer. As the plain daughter of a hatmaker, Sophie does not expect much from her future and settles for her hard work in the shop.

Sophie’s simple life turns exciting, however, when she is ensnared in a disturbing situation and the mysterious wizard rescues her. Although brief, this encounter causes the vain and vengeful Witch of the Waste, in a jealous rage caused by a past conflict with Howl, to curse the maiden and turn her into an old woman.

While a war rages, Sophie must accompany Howl and his eccentric companions-ranging from a powerful fire demon to a hopping scarecrow in his living castle, on an adventure to return to normal.

The art is exceptional, as you might expect from Miyazaki. His stories feature breathtaking scenery that is equally important to the plot as it is to the scenery itself. All the characters are lovable and deep, from Sophie and Howl to scrappy little Calcipher.

Watching Miyazaki’s films, you will be captivated by his gentleness, visual vigor, and unshowy intelligence. It’s a film that everyone can enjoy. No other animated film has captured the essence of love more accurately and vividly than Howl no Ugoku Shiro does.

    Made in Abyss

    Made in Abyss

The Abyss is a gaping chasm that stretches deep into the earth, filled with ancient relics and mysterious creatures. What lead to this? And what is at the bottom? Countless brave individuals, called Divers, have descended fearlessly into the Abyss in search of answers to its mysteries. The White Whistles, the most courageous and best Divers, are celebrated as legends by those on the surface.

The daughter of White Whistle Lyza the Annihilator, Riko, wishes to follow in her mother’s footsteps and explore the Abyss’ furthest reaches. Nevertheless, as she is only a novice Red Whistle, she is only allowed to roam the very top layer. However, Riko runs into a mysterious robot that appears to be a young boy. Reg, as she calls him, has no memory of the events preceding his discovery.

Knowing that Reg’s technology must originate from deep within the Abyss, the two decide to venture into the depths of the chasm in search of his memories and see what lies beneath. However, they are unaware of the harsh reality of the Abyss.

This anime has a good story. Among its many elements are mystery, emotion, sadness, love, action, tears, and more. While the story is straightforward and conceptually very simple, several details are added as the story unfolds.

Throughout the show, concepts such as friendship, trust, the history of the Abyss, and the curse surrounding it are explored without being overly complicated for viewers to comprehend. Additionally, we can observe the relentless pursuit of truth and the desire to resolve the mysteries of the Abyss.

    Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken

    Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken

A thirty-seven-year-old corporate worker, Satoru Mikami is completely content with his monotonous lifestyle in Tokyo, aside from failing to find a girlfriend even once during his lifetime. A random assailant stabs him on the streets in the middle of a casual encounter with a colleague. While dying of his injuries, a peculiar voice echoes in his head, reciting a series of commandments he cannot comprehend.

After regaining consciousness, he realizes he’s reincarnated as a slimy goop in an unfamiliar world when he regains consciousness. Consequently, he gains new skills, including the ability to mimic anything and devour it. Then he stumbles upon the sealed “Storm Dragon” Veldora, a monster of Catastrophe level who’s been locked away for 300 years after destroying a town.

After sympathizing with his predicament, Satoru promises to assist in destroying the seal. As a reward, Veldora gives him the name Rimuru Tempest in order to grant him divine protection.

Rimuru, liberated from the monotony of his previous life, embarks on a new journey, guided by a distinct goal. Gradually, his gooey antics spread throughout the world, affecting his fate.

In the end, Slime is a very good isekai show for the simple reason that it captures what it’s like to begin a new life in a different world without turning the story into a generic shounen fantasy adventure.

Rimuru’s smug, bright and cheerful outlook on life contributes greatly to the overall enjoyment value of the show. Without him, the show would be far less enjoyable.

    Dragon Ball Z

    Dragon Ball Z

In the five years since he won the World Martial Arts Tournament, Gokuu lives in peace with his wife and son. However, all of that changes with the arrival of a mysterious enemy named Raditz who presents himself as Gokuu’s long-lost brother. It is revealed that Gokuu belongs to the once powerful but now nearly extinct Saiyan race, whose homeworld was destroyed.

As a child, Gokuu was sent to Earth to conquer and destroy the planet; he suffered amnesia from a head injury, and his savage, violent nature changed, and he now fights to protect others as a kind and well-mannered boy.

In his failed attempt to coerce Gokuu into joining him, Raditz warns Gokuu’s friends of a new threat that is rapidly approaching Earth – one that could plunge Earth into an intergalactic war and cause the heavens themselves to shake. Dragon Ball Z tells the story of a war fought over the seven dragon balls, and only the strongest will survive.

Dragon Ball Z is an epic series. It helped spread the art of anime around the world because it is one of the most popular anime series in history. Dragon Ball Z is a better series than the original. The characters have matured, and the show has a mature feel to it.

Several shounen anime stories feature powerful villains who must be defeated. A protagonist doing what seems impossible, obviously, is not uncommon, but it has always been the case regardless of whether the protagonist has friends or enemies surrounding him. This trend began with DBZ.

Probably every one of you has seen or at least heard of is Dragon Ball Z. Many viewers have used this anime as their gateway into the world of anime.

    Mononoke Hime

    Mononoke Hime

As a young prince, Ashitaka puts his life at risk to protect his tribe when a fierce demon boar attacks an Emishi village. The beast curses the prince’s arm with its dying breath, granting him demonic powers while siphoning away his life.

Ashitaka is sent westward for a cure, but on arrival at the Iron Town of Tatara, he is embroiled in a fierce conflict: Lady Eboshi of Tatara, a fierce advocate of constant deforestation, stands against Princess San and the forest spirits, enraged at the destruction brought by humans.

Amidst the conflict between nature and mankind, Ashitaka tries to balance the opposing forces while also battling the latent demon within him. With Mononoke Hime, a connection between technology and nature is depicted, demonstrating the path to harmony that can be reached through mutual acceptance.

This is a Studio Ghibli film, so the animation is going to be amazing. There is a sense of nature captured in the animation. This was accomplished by Miyazaki by creating a wide range of beasts and mystical characters. There are even gods in this movie, which adds to the feeling of nature being alive.

There are several fascinating characters in this film, especially Ashitaka and Princess Mononoke. Throughout the story, Ashitaka’s interactions with the various warring groups are the focus. He always points out the absurdities of the other characters and attempts to rectify them. The meaninglessness of conflict is communicated through him, as well as the overall story.

Likewise, Princess Mononoke is a character filled with mystery and intricately crafted. Humans’ selfish egotism and hostility to the earth and creatures living on it are the reasons behind her hatred of them.

    Hataraku Maou-sama!

    Hataraku Maou-sama!

With the help of his army of demons, Satan begins to conquer Ente Isla, creating fear in the hearts of mortals. Despite his brutal attempts to conquer the continent, Satan is foiled by the hero Emilia, forcing him to flee through a dimensional portal only to arrive in the human realm.

Together with his loyal general Alsiel, the demon finds himself stranded in modern-day Tokyo and vows to return and conquer Ente Isla—if only they can find a way back!

In a world that doesn’t have magic, Satan assumes the identity of a human named Sadao Maou and works at MgRonald’s—a fast-food restaurant—in order to make ends meet. He will soon realize that conquering Ente Isla isn’t enough as he becomes more and more aiming to climb the corporate ladder and become the ruler of Earth, one satisfied customer at a time!

If it’s part-time work, household chores, or simply trying to pay the rent on time, Hataraku Maou-sama! takes a humorous look at everyday life through the eyes of a hapless demon lord.

This concept is executed unbelievably well. The story is interesting, and the way different characters play off of one another to advance their development, and the story, is an absolute joy to watch.

There is a wide variety of different characters, each with very contrasting personalities. Probably the best part of this anime is the characters. They bring a sense of humor to the show and make it enjoyable. You will enjoy the Devil and his general, along with the Hero. You will love the antagonists, and best of all, they are all hilarious in their own way.

    Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon

    Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon

Kobayashi opens the door to her apartment before leaving for work and finds herself confronted with a terrifying sight — the head of a dragon staring at her from across the balcony. The dragon quickly transforms into a cute, busty, and energetic young girl dressed in a maid outfit, introducing herself as Tooru.

As it turned out, the stoic programmer had come across the dragon the previous night on a drunken excursion to the mountains. Since the mythical beast had no place else to go, she had provided it with a home.

Tooru had therefore arrived to take advantage of the offer, ready to repay her savior’s kindness by working as her personal maid. Even though Kobayashi regrets her words and hesitates to take the girl in, the combination of guilt and Tooru’s incredible dragon abilities convinces her to take the girl in.

Kobayashi is horrified by the maid’s unorthodox methods of housekeeping, even though she is highly competent at her job. In addition, Tooru bears some heavy emotions and painful memories that are intimately connected to the circumstances of her arrival on Earth.

On top of all that, Tooru’s presence attracts several other mythical beings to her new home, bringing a host of eccentric personalities with her. Kobayashi makes her best effort to handle the crazy situation she has found herself in, but nothing prepares her for this new life with a dragon maid.

Sometimes the simplest stories are the best. Dragon Maid doesn’t seem contrived, but rather plays out as a situational comedy.

    Kyoukai no Kanata

    Kyoukai no Kanata

In the Spirit World, Mirai Kuriyama is the sole survivor of a clan of warriors who have the power to use their blood as weapons. Consequently, Mirai is tasked with hunting down and killing “youmu,” creatures said to be manifestations of negative human emotions.

When deep in thought on the school roof, Mirai comes across Akihito Kanbara, a rare half-breed of youmu in human form. As she plunges her blood saber into him, she realizes that he is an immortal being. After that, Mirai and Akihito form an impromptu friendship that revolves around her trying to kill Akihito in order to boost her own confidence as a Spirit World warrior.

Akihito also manages to persuade her to join the Literary Club, which contains two other powerful Spirit World warriors, Hiroomi and Mitsuki Nase.

The tenacity of the youmu around the group grows stronger as the group’s bond deepens. Their misadventures will soon become a struggle for survival once Beyond the Boundary, the most powerful youmu, is released.

This anime has great characters and character development as well. Even though all the characters are reused tropes, they interact very realistically. Each character is unique. They all have strange quirks, so the show is fun to watch. Although the show itself is somewhat dark, the character interactions are able to make you laugh.

This anime is extremely enjoyable due to the level of mysticism it portrays, and despite the fact that it is an overused overarching plot, it does a very good job of making it not feel stale at all. The pacing feels good and it’s overall a very enjoyable experience.

    Log Horizon

    Log Horizon

After the latest Elder Tale update, thirty thousand confused Japanese gamers are whisked away into the world of the popular MMORPG-unable to log out. The socially awkward college student Shiroe is one of them, and his confusion and shock last only a moment before, as an expert at this game, he immediately sets out to test the limits of his new world.

Shiroe must adjust to this new world, leading others and negotiating with the NPC “natives” to keep the virtual city Akihabara stable. Shiroe is joined by Naotsugu, who logged in for the first time in years only to find himself trapped, and Akatsuki, a fierce assassin who labels Shiroe as her master.

This fantasy, adventure, and politics tale explores the elements of gaming through the eyes of a master strategist attempting to decode a puzzling situation.

Log Horizon starts slowly with the typical setup of a “no-faults” main character. Log Horizon is thrilling to watch because of the way Shiroe, the main character, approaches each situation strategically.

Shiroe is not the typical shounen hero who grows stronger throughout the story and then overpowers his enemies. Instead, he’s more of a background character, the “villain in glasses” who dictates the flow and direction of battle. The show is genuinely fun, avoiding many of the pitfalls we’ve grown accustomed to seeing from shounen-type shows.

Log Horizon’s story sets it apart from a typical shounen show. There are strong political and economic themes that tie into one of the show’s biggest themes: building a world.

    Goblin Slayer

    Goblin Slayer

While Goblins are known for their ferocity, cunning, and rapid reproduction, their reputation as the lowliest of monsters causes their threat to be overlooked. These vile creatures raid rural settlements in search of females of other species to breed, and they are allowed to continue their evil act as adventurers turn a blind eye in favor of more lucrative assignments.

As the 15-year-old Priestess celebrates her first day as a Porcelain-ranked adventurer, she joins a squad of young, enthusiastic rookies to investigate a tribe of goblins behind the disappearances of several village women.

A cave exploration soon leads to the group’s demise since they are ill-prepared and inexperienced. The terrified Priestess accepts her fate when no one else is around-until the Goblin Slayer appears to not only save her without much effort, but also destroy the entire goblin nest.

The Goblin Slayer, who holds the prestigious silver rank, allows her to accompany him in assisting the Adventurer’s Guild on all goblin-related matters. Together with the Priestess, High Elf, Dwarf, and Lizard-man, the armored warrior won’t rest until every last goblin in the frontier lands has been eradicated.

It is somewhat straightforward and simple in the story, especially the characters, but this simplicity adds to its entertainment value. Whenever and wherever he wants, Goblin Slayer kicks ass and kills goblins. It’s as simple as that. The most enjoyable part is watching this ‘madman’ or ‘crazy bastard’ kill a bunch of goblins in the most brutal way possible.

This is basically a story about Goblin Slayer’s adventures. Shows the slaying of goblins by Goblin Slayer. As we all know, he kills them. This alone makes the series entertaining.

    Fairy Tail

    Fairy Tail

Fiore is a mystical land where magic is an integral part of everyday life. The core of all magical activity lies in the many magic guilds, which provide like-minded mages with a venue for collaborating and taking on job requests. Known for its strength and spirit, Fairy Tail stands out from the rest.

In order to become a full-fledged wizard, Lucy Heartfilia hopes to join this famous guild in search of celestial gate keys. In her search, she encounters Natsu Dragneel and his partner Happy, who are on a quest to find Natsu’s foster father, the dragon Igneel.

Lucy falls victim to an abduction attempt after being tricked by a man, but Natsu saves her. She is shocked when he reveals that he is a member of Fairy Tail and invites her to join. There Lucy meets the guild’s strange members. This includes Gray Fullbuster, an ice wizard, and Erza Scarlet, a magic swordswoman. Throughout the series, they endure battles against evil, help others, make new friends, and enjoy the never-ending fun and adventure that is Fairy Tail.

As part of what makes Fairy Tail so unique is that it is good in spite of all the clichés it contains. It’s okay to enjoy generic shounens, and Fairy Tail makes the most of the elements we love.

Considering the number of characters in the story, one would think there would not be enough time to tell the story of them all. Even though they aren’t the main characters, they all get plenty of screen time. Most of the time you will see that Natsu, Grey, Lucy, and Happy are being followed, but you will also notice that everyone else is being included.

Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu

Mushoku Tensei Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu

Even after being bullied, scorned, and oppressed his whole life, a thirty-four-year-old shut-in tried something heroic-only for it to end tragically. As a result of a twist of fate, he awakens in another world as Rudeus Greyrat, a newborn born to two loving parents.

He quickly adapts to his new environment with the knowledge he has retained from his previous life. Having the mind of an adult, he starts to show a talent in magic that surpasses expectations, honing his skill with the help of a mage named Roxy Migurdia. He learns swordplay from his father, Paul, and meets Sylphiette, a girl his age who becomes his closest friend.

In Rudeus’ second chance at life, he strives to make the most of his new opportunity while facing his traumatic past. He may one day find the one thing he couldn’t find in his old world-love.

We meet even more lovely characters as the show goes on. There will be characters you want to learn more about. Unlike an isekai anime, our main character does not immediately go on an adventure. Rather, it emphasizes world-building and the cast of characters.

Instead of overloading us with bland monologues to build a world, Rudeus’ experience with magic puts actions into words. In addition to building a deeper connection between the viewer and the characters, it also gives the viewer more time to become immersed in the show. It gradually introduces this new world instead of cramming everything into a single episode, something that several shows unfortunately do too often.

    Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry

    Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry

Only a few humans in this world are capable of manipulating their souls to create powerful weapons. These people, dubbed “Blazers,” study and train at Hagun Academy to become Mage-Knights, and one such student is the famed failure Ikki Kurogane, who is the only F-rated Blazer.

However, when the worst student at the academy sees Stella Vermillion, a princess and A-ranked Blazer, naked, she challenges him to a duel, where the losing student becomes a slave of the victor. Stella can’t possibly lose, can she?

During the course of the story, Ikki strives to prove himself to a world that believes he is weak, all the while gaining new friends, wisdom, and experience.

The fascinating thing about Rakudai is how at odds with its own clichéd nature it appears to be. With a unique sense of self-awareness, the series doesn’t necessarily belittle or parody such tropes, but plays them to the fullest extent possible. This is manifested in how the characters are presented and treated, alternating between predictable instances of their archetypes and legitimately thought-out character moments.

Every now and then, Rakudai manages to handle plot points in a way that could be considered meta-humor, as it plays with expectations the viewer creates after having seen similar situations before.

Overall, this is an excellent show in a genre that is extremely stagnant. The tropes we recognize and dislike are used in a way that is both recognizable and new in this anime. Instead of striving for the extraordinary, it uses the ordinary in a better way.

    Tenki no Ko

    Tenki no Ko

At present, Tokyo is experiencing heavy rain showers that seem to disrupt the normal pace of life there to no end. Runaway high school student Hodaka Morishima arrives in the midst of this seemingly endless downpour, struggling to keep himself afloat and ending up working at a small-time publisher. Likewise, Hina Amano, who is orphaned, also tries to find work to support her and her younger brother.

The two fates become intertwined when Hodaka attempts to save Hina from shady men, deciding to flee together. Later, Hodaka discovers that Hina possesses a strange yet astonishing power: the ability to call out the sun whenever she prays for it. As a result of Tokyo’s unusual weather, Hodaka sees great potential in this ability. His suggestion is that Hina become the “sunshine girl”-someone who will clear the sky for people when the need arises.

At first, things look up for them. Power, however, is always accompanied by a hefty price.

Because of this power, a girl with the ability to eliminate rain by praying uses it to her advantage, providing a well-paced plotline as well as a range of interesting yet realistic issues that arise. There’s something refreshing about the characters in this film because they’re not stupid or over-the-top.

Fortunately, anime does not have annoying tropes. There are two teenagers, each with their own issues: one tries to adjust to a strange new environment, the other struggles to provide for her family. There are nuances of interaction between the two main characters that make all the difference and propel the plot forward in a realistic and refreshing manner.

The plot of this film is easy to follow and everyone can enjoy it. It’s a Shinkai film, so simple doesn’t mean shallow. In each of his works, he explores a theme and conveys a message.

    Mahoutsukai no Yome

    Mahoutsukai no Yome

During an auction, Chise Hatori, a 15-year-old Japanese girl, was sold for five million pounds to a tall, masked man. Being abandoned at a young age and ridiculed by her peers for her unconventional behavior, she was ready to give herself up for any buyer who would give her a place to live. As she is chained and headed to an unknown destiny, she hears whispers from robed men around her complaining that a buyer grabbed a rare “Sleigh Beggy.”

Instead of paying attention to the murmurs, the man leads her into a study, in which he reveals himself to be a magus named Elias Ainsworth. Using teleportation magic, the two open their eyes to Elias’ picturesque cottage in rural England. When Chise arrived, she was greeted by fairies and surrounded by strange and wonderful creatures. These events mark the beginning of her story as the apprentice and bride of the ancient magus.

There’s more to this show than Chise and Elias. Mahoutsukai no Yome does a lot to make its audience become invested in the story even if they are its main stars. The world setting is one of the first things people will notice. In addition to modern cities and streets, there is magic and a world filled with otherworldly creatures.

We learn about the story along with the main character, Chise, so it doesn’t reveal itself right away. As the show progresses, the viewer can get invested in all of the events that the show has to offer. Despite how serious the show seems, it still has its light moments so it isn’t just a moody story.

    Kekkai Sensen

    Kekkai Sensen

For some time now, Hellsalem’s Lot, formerly known as New York City, has been home to supersonic monkeys, vampires, talking fishmen, and a variety of other supernatural creatures. Since a gateway opened between Earth and the Beyond three years ago, New Yorkers and creatures from the other dimension have been trapped in an impenetrable bubble and forced to live together.

A secret organization called Libra is composed of eccentrics and superhumans whose task is to keep order in the city and prevent chaos from spreading to the rest of the world.

Leonardo Watch pursues photography as a hobby and lives a normal life with his parents and sister. After obtaining the “All-seeing Eyes of the Gods” at the cost of his sister’s eyesight, Hellsalem’s Lot is where he goes to find answers to his mysterious powers in order to help her.

Eventually, he meets Libra, and when Leo unexpectedly joins their ranks, he gets more than he bargained for. As an ordinary boy unwittingly discovers his life has taken a turn for the extraordinary, Kekkai Sensen follows Leo and his companions through their misadventures in the most bizarre place on Earth.

The show follows an episodic format to begin with. Despite the fact that the events of the series and the characters in it form connections, each episode tells its own story. In essence, the first episode introduces the majority of the main cast and gives us a sense of what Hellsalem’s Lot is about.

Kekkai Sensen is one of those rare shows where you will hardly find any character that you dislike. The characters in this series all have personalities that can be easily adapted to the contents of this show.

    Magi: The Kingdom of Magic

    Magi The Kingdom of Magic

Every corner of the world is home to bizarre labyrinths that conceal incredible treasures. There is a myth that these “Dungeons” are the work of rare magicians called Magi, who also assist people in building their empires by guiding them to these dungeons. In the labyrinth, Djinns, supernatural beings that have enormous power, grant access to conquerors and choose them to become king candidates.

After spending his entire life in isolation, Aladdin, a kind and young magician, is eager to explore the world upon leaving his home for the first time. As he begins his journey, Aladdin is only accompanied by his mentor Ugo, a djinn he summons with his flute.

As a result of destroying a local merchant’s supply cart, Aladdin becomes friends with Alibaba Saluja. Alibaba then suggests that they attempt to conquer the nearest dungeon in order to pay for the damages, starting the epic journey that will decide the fate of the world.

You can expect a gripping narrative with a setting based on Arabian Nights. Magi has been structured so that the emphasis on the main characters is well-balanced, and it has a distinctive feel to it. Using this method, the story can become even darker and more gripping without losing its narrative. An intriguing plot depends on well-rounded characters. No matter how good a set piece is, it won’t work without strong protagonists. And Magi delivers.

This is different from other shounen because of its political aspect. You must reign as a king. So, how do you go about it? This question creates a believable environment in which the different nations and factions can interact without it feeling like the author is expecting you to pretend they would do something.

    Sword Art Online

    Sword Art Online

Sword Art Online (SAO) is a huge online role-playing game that is launched in the year 2022 as virtual reality advances by leaps and bounds. Through the use of “NerveGear” technology, players are able to control their avatars exclusively with their thoughts.

Kazuto Kirigaya, nicknamed “Kirito,” was lucky enough to get his hands on the very first shipment of the game. With ten-thousand others, he logs in to find himself in the beautiful and elaborate world of Aincrad, full of medieval weapons and gruesome monsters. The players soon discover, however, that they cannot log out of the game; the game’s creator has locked them inside the game until they have completed all one hundred levels.

Kirito must now interact and cooperate with his fellow players in order to escape Aincrad. Some of them are allies, but others are foes, like Asuna Yuuki, who commands the leading group trying to escape the ruthless game. Furthermore, Sword Art Online is not just fun and games: if they die in Aincrad, they die in real life. As Kirito adjusts to his new reality, he must fight for survival and hopefully escape from his virtual hell.

Each episode of the anime comes with suspensions and excitement. You never clearly know what is going to happen until it happens. Generally, Sword Art Online’s characters feel like real people. They have emotions and interact with each other like real people.

They are trapped inside a game where they can’t get out and if they die in the game, they have no future. The characters are really easy to like and you want them to beat the game, and head back to the real world.

    Zero no Tsukaima

    Zero no Tsukaima

In a world of cloaks, royalty and wands, the self-absorbed Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière is a mage. Despite studying at the prestigious Tristain Academy for magicians, Louise has a serious problem: she can’t perform magic properly, earning her the nickname “Louise the Zero” from her classmates.

Louise’s summoning causes an explosion when the first-year students perform a summoning ritual. Everyone believes that this is yet another failure, but when the smoke clears, a boy named Saito Hiraga emerges.

Saito, now Louise’s familiar, is being treated like a slave, forced to clean her clothes and eat from the ground. When an unknown brand is found etched on Saito’s hand from the summoning ritual, it is believed that the mark represents Gandalf, a highly powerful familiar.

A wild, adventurous, and explosive story, Zero no Tsukaima follows Saito as he adjusts to his new life and as Louise shows that she is more than her nickname implies.

Louise and Saito’s relationship is the main focus of the storyline. Throughout the series, their relationship develops more, and small plot twists are introduced. The real reason the boy is special. How Louise seems to mess everything up.

This is an enjoyable anime in general. It doesn’t have a particularly deep plot. A lot of the tools used in this show have been used before. Many of the characters can be considered cliche. Perhaps that’s what makes it so appealing. It does not require you to step outside your anime paradigm to enjoy it. You can just enjoy the hijinks and life of the characters. Once you start watching this anime, you can’t stop.

    Ookami to Koushinryou

    Ookami to Koushinryou

In the small town of Pasloe, Holo, a powerful wolf deity, is revered and celebrated for blessing the annual harvest. Even so, as the village becomes more self-sufficient, Holo, the so-called “Wise Wolf of Yoitsu,” is increasingly reduced to a mere folktale. During Kraft Lawrence’s stop at Pasloe, Holo offers to become his business partner if he takes her to her northern home, Yoitsu.

Holo’s unusual ability to judge a person’s character is recognized by the trader, who accepts her proposal. A charismatic negotiator combined with sharp business skills has brought Lawrence closer to his goal of opening his own shop. Lawrence, however, as he travels the countryside with Holo in search of economic opportunities, slowly begins to notice that his aspirations are quickly evolving into something unexpected.

In Ookami to Koushinryou, economics, and romance blend to create an engaging tale packed with elaborate schemes, sharp humor, and witty dialogue. The story of Ookami to Koushinryou deviates from bartering into a journey of searching for a lost identity in an ever-changing world.

A show like this doesn’t have a grand story – instead, it focuses on the motivations of Lawrence, a traveling merchant, and Holo, an outcast deity who travels with him. The show is able to deeply invest in its arcs, which make them excellent ways to develop characters. In addition, it does something great – it leaves a lot unsaid, but does it in a way that creates mystery and intrigue rather than frustration.

This show crams so much information and dialog into so little time that it is easy to say it isn’t for everyone. However, this is a very intelligent, beautiful, and intriguing show.

    Trinity Seven

    Trinity Seven

In a flash, the bright red sun stopped shining, causing the “Breakdown Phenomenon” – the total destruction of Arata Kasuga’s town and the disappearance of its inhabitants. Even so, all is not lost; with the help of the magical grimoire that his childhood friend and cousin Hijiri Kasuga gave him, Arata is able to artificially reconstruct his world.

Arata’s artificial world abruptly disintegrates after Lilith Asami appears before him to investigate the phenomenon. Asami tells him that he must either give the book to her, or die. Arata eventually chooses the third option—enrolling in the top-secret magic school Royal Biblia Academy, where six other magical users await him. This group of six, along with Lilith, forms the Trinity Seven, an elite group of students who each bolster their abilities and skills.

Arata will stop at nothing to prevent the destruction of his hometown and save his best friend Hijiri, with the help of his newfound friends.

This plot is very intriguing and a bit mysterious at first, making you keep wanting more. The plot of this story seems to be quite well thought out, and all the happenings seem to make sense within the world.

A strong point of this anime is that the characters are all extremely likable and well made. The character development is sufficient to make you feel for some of the characters and get to know them better than in some other anime.

Each character adds to the anime’s sense of harmony. They all seem to interact well together, and each has their own unique traits. It doesn’t feel like any of the characters take away from any of the others. Their ability to synergize their powers is clever.

    Mushishi

    Mushishi

“Mushi”: the most basic form of life. Unlike humans, Mushi have no objectives or goals apart from simply “being.” They are not enslaved by the terms “good” and “evil.” Mushi can take on countless forms and can mimic things from nature such as plants, diseases, and even phenomena like rainbows.

Nevertheless, it is just a vague definition of these entities that live in the vibrant world of Mushishi, as calling them a form of life would be an oversimplification. There is little detailed information on Mushi since most humans are unaware of their existence.

Why do Mushi exist and what do they do? It is a question that “Mushishi,” like Ginko, are perpetually pondering. A Mushishi is a person who studies Mushi to understand their position in the world’s hierarchy of life.

To find an answer, Ginko chases rumors of occurrences related to Mushi.

Ultimately, it could lead to the meaning of life itself.

Ginko is the main character of Mushishi, an episodic anime. Ginko travels from town to town, researching a phenomenon known as “mushi” and its effects on humans. Moreover, he helps the different villages solve any mushi “problems.”

This concept of “mushi,” which is neither human, animal, nor plant, but influences human life every day, is both intelligent and thought-provoking. Even more intriguing is the way Ginko manages these phenomena, whether he is just researching or treating them. The lessons in Mushishi’s stories are timeless, and the stories are told beautifully.

There is no flashy, grotesque, or absurd story, competing for attention among the cliche-ridden anime market. The plot flows like a calm streamlet, contemplative in its very essence.

    Kami no Tou

    Kami no Tou

It is said that a tower summons special people known as “Regulars” and grants their deepest desires. Reaching the top will allow you to experience wealth, fame, authority, or something even greater than all of those things.

Throughout his life, Twenty-Fifth Bam only knew a dark cave, a dirty cloth, and an unreachable light. As a result, his entire world changed when a girl named Rachel appeared through the light. After becoming close friends with Rachel, he learned various things about the outside world from her.

When Rachel tells him that she must leave him to climb the Tower, his world is shattered. In his promise to follow after her no matter what, he sets his sight on the tower, and a miracle ensues.

The journey of Bam begins here, a young boy who was not chosen by the Tower but opened its gates on his own. His kind are known as “Irregulars” — beings who in the past have shaken the very foundation of the Tower each time they entered it.

This series’ mysteries are one of its strongest points, since there is so much potential for development from what’s revealed episode by episode. Intense plots, irregulars and regulars, and the general lore of the series really pulls you in and keeps you looking forward to the next episode.

Because of the cutthroat environment of the tower, only the fittest survive, and there are many heart-wrenching moments among the bittersweet victories. The distinction between the hero and villain is often unclear, allies change constantly, and the villains rarely justify their actions with excuses. Furthermore, the villains are not created just to cause drama; they are not insane or unreasonable.

Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki

Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki

An extremely hard-working college student named Hana becomes enamored with a mysterious man who attends one of her classes even though he isn’t a student. As it turns out, he’s not really human either. He transforms on a full moon night, revealing that he is the last werewolf alive. Even so, Hana’s love remains strong, and the couple eventually decides to start a family.

Two healthy children are born to Hana-Ame during rain and Yuki during snowfall-both of whom possess the ability to turn into wolves, something they inherited from their father. Hana’s life is shattered when her lover suddenly dies, leaving her to raise a family on her own.

Having to raise her wild-natured children in a densely populated city while hiding their identities leads her to decide to move to the countryside, where she hopes her children will be able to live a life free from society’s judgments. In an unforgiving modern world, this is the story of a single mother navigating the challenges of being a single mother.

This film is all about mother’s love and its enduring power. It is a story about self-discovery and growth.

As a result, fantasy is handled delicately and gently without overwhelming the story. There are no transformation hijinks or forced humor. There is a natural approach to the wolf children. They seamlessly transition from wolf to human form and back again. Some of the film’s best scenes are those in which the characters transform into and out of their dual identities.

Ookami Kodomo’s characters easily captivate the audience. One of the most inspiring characters to be made into an animated film is Hana. She is devoted to her family.

    Akatsuki no Yona

    Akatsuki no Yona

Princess Yona leads a life of luxury and comfort, sheltered from the problems of the seemingly peaceful Kingdom of Kouka. However, the murder of the king and the betrayal of her beloved cousin Su-won threaten her life.

The naive princess, forced to escape with Son Hak, a childhood friend and bodyguard, soon learns Kouka is not as idyllic as she imagined it would be. In the current state of the kingdom, poverty, strife, and corruption make reclaiming the throne nothing more than a wishful fantasy.

Akatsuki no Yona follows the adventures of Princess Yona as she faces the harsh realities of her kingdom. Yona must find a way to regain Kouka’s former glory while being pursued relentlessly by the forces of the new monarchy of Kouka, using only a mysterious legend as her guide.

As the story goes on, the show turns out to be much more than your average shoujo reverse harem, it’s a well-written story focusing on vengeance and betrayal that blows other shoujos out of the water.

Character development is very good, Yona is one of the best female characters of all time. She starts off weak and fragile before developing into a brave independent creature awaiting its prey, done in such a way that her growth is natural.

Watching the show is a blast. It leaves no plotholes and has dialog that seems to make sense. Initially, the plot sounds generic, but if you give the show a chance, you’ll be rewarded with some of the best developments in anime in years.

    The God of High School

    The God of High School

The tournament “God of High School” has begun, which aims to determine which high school student is the greatest fighter. Any martial art style, weapon, means, and method of achieving victory is permitted. And the prize? Anything the winner wishes for.

Jin Mo-Ri, a Taekwondo expert, is invited to participate. There he becomes friends with karate expert Han Dae-Wi and swordswoman Yu Mi-Ra, who are both entering for personal reasons. Mo-Ri knows that he will never face the same opponent again and that they will be the most brutal matches of his life. Rather than be worried, he is excited beyond words.

There is a secret behind the facade of a transparent test of combat prowess, one that has the Korean political candidate Park Mu-Jin watching every fight expectantly. It is about to become apparent to Mo-Ri, Dae-Wi, and Mi-Ra what it means to become the God of High School.

Everyone can enjoy this anime, regardless of whether they are fans of anime or a specific genre. It does not matter how old you are either. Whether you are watching an anime for the first time or a hundredth time, you will certainly be entertained. Getting hooked on the three main characters and who they are in the opening episode really makes you interested in watching the rest of the series. When a show does something like that, you know it’s going to be good and worth your time.

You’ll find yourself rooting for the three main characters, wanting nothing but the best for them. In the story, all characters have a motive and a story behind them, and their stories can vary depending on the character, so you cannot wait to find out more about them.

    Koutetsujou no Kabaneri

    Koutetsujou no Kabaneri

It is in the midst of the industrial revolution when horrifying creatures emerge from a mysterious virus, tearing through the flesh of humans to satisfy their insatiable appetite. To kill these beings, known as “Kabane,” you must destroy their steel-coated hearts. If the victim is bitten by one of these monsters, however, the victim will suffer a worse fate than death, as the fallen rise again to join the ranks of the undead.

It is only the strongest civilizations that have survived this turmoil, as is the case with Hinomoto, where mankind built a massive wall to protect itself from the endless hordes of Kabane. Only heavily-armored trains provide access to these giant fortresses, which are maintained and built by young men such as Ikoma.

Having created a weapon he believes will easily penetrate the hearts of Kabane, Ikoma is eagerly looking forward to being able to use it to fight. Little does he realize, however, that his chance will come much sooner than he expected.

Each character in this anime is memorable and unique. The main character, Ikoma, is a great character, but some of the side characters are also well done. With only 12 episodes to develop the characters, the character development is exceptional.

Definitely a binge-watch-worthy anime. The show is so intense and full of adrenaline-pumping moments that you are kept on the edge of your seat, so if you stop watching after each episode, you’re essentially jumping off the ride before you reach the best part.

    InuYasha

    InuYasha

The story of InuYasha follows a fifteen-year-old ordinary girl, Kagome Higurashi, who gets dragged inside a cursed well that is on the grounds of her family’s Shinto shrine by a demon. Rather than reaching the bottom of the well, Kagome finds herself 500 years in the past, which is during Japan’s violent Sengoku period, with the demon’s true target, a wish-granting jewel called the Shikon Jewel, reborn within her.

As Kagome accidentally shatters the precious jewel in battle with a revived demon, she enlists the aid of a young dog-demon/human hybrid named Inuyasha to collect and prevent the shards from falling into the wrong hands.

Our two protagonists will be accompanied on their journey by Shippo the fox-demon, Miroku the monk, and Sango the deadly demon slayer. They must learn to work together even though they have differences, to find the power-granting shards scattered throughout feudal Japan and to deal with the threats that arise.

As the story progresses, we gain a deeper understanding of Inuyasha, Kagome, and their companions. Furthermore, the show is full of plot twists, so even after figuring out the outcome, the story remains intriguing.

As well as heartbreaking emotional scenes, the anime also has action-packed battle sequences. Inuyasha has left a lasting legacy. Due to its incredible soundtrack, visuals, plot, and detailed character development, it will remain a favorite anime around the world.

What makes anime so popular is the great character drama and development that occurs between the characters. There are a number of emotions you can feel when watching Inuyasha. It’s an amazing story. There are a variety of genres in this story, resulting in a fantastic story anyone can enjoy and admire.

Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri

Gate Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri

Suddenly, a mysterious portal shaped like a large gate appears in front of off-duty Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF) officer, Youji Itami, as he is on his way to a doujin convention in Ginza, Tokyo.

As supernatural creatures and warriors clad in medieval armor emerge from this gate, they charge into the city, killing and destroying everything they come across. Youji takes swift action to save as many lives as he can while the rest of the JSDF work to stop the invasion.

Following the attack, Youji has been tasked with leading a special recon team, part of a JSDF task force, that will go to the world beyond the gate, now known as the “Special Region.”.

As they travel into this unknown world, they will be able to learn more about what they are dealing with and will befriend the locals in the hopes of forging peaceful relations with the ruling empire. However, if they fail, a devastating war will consume both sides of the gate.

It is an outstanding show in terms of its technical aspects. Despite Gate’s character-centered focus, the idea of spending a lot of time discussing political, economic, philosophical and a wide variety of subjects in the fantasy world can be very boring. However, Gate shows how it’s important to understand characters’ motivations. To understand the series better, it is also important to understand the characters.

The series attempts to describe to the best of its ability the best path for humanity in this fictional world. It has its merits and faults, but more importantly, it is not simple. The topic is rather complex to discuss or use in an anime series, but Gate does a nice job of presenting the controversial themes.

    Hai to Gensou no Grimgar

    Hai to Gensou no Grimgar

Survival, fear, instinct. When thrown into a foreign land with only vague memories and the knowledge of their name, they can only feel these three emotions resonating through their souls. Strangers are forced into accepting their only paid job in this game-like world – the role of soldiers in the Reserve Army – and eliminating anything that threatens the peace in their new world, Grimgar.

All the stronger candidates join together, leaving those left behind to create a party to survive: Manato, a charming leader and priest; Haruhiro, a scared thief; Yume, a joyful hunter; Shihoru, a timid mage; Moguzo, a compassionate warrior; and Ranta, a brawny dark knight. Despite its resemblance to one, it is not a game. There is no redoing or respawning; it is kill or be killed.

The edge between life and death is razor-thin in this world, and it’s up to this unlikely band of warriors to survive together.

Hai to Gensou no Grimgar is notable for its large main cast. As opposed to the individuals, the focus is more on characterizing and developing the group; however, there is a decent balance between the individual and the group, so neither feels completely ignored; the audience is briefly introduced to their daily lives and personalities. One of the best aspects of Hai to Gensou no Grimgar is getting to know how each character interacts with the group.

After a rocky start, the show progresses excellently, making it worth watching if the first few annoyances can be endured. The same could be said about the pacing, which develops into superbness. Although sometimes deemed slow, slow is not a bad thing.

    Claymore

    Claymore

A lone woman with silver eyes, carrying a sword on her back, arrives in Raki’s village when a shapeshifting demon known as “youma” arrives, with a thirst for human flesh. She is a Claymore, a half-human, half-youma creation designed to rid the world of these monsters.

Raki is saved by Claymore after his family is killed, but he is subsequently banished from his home. Finding himself with nowhere else to turn, Raki decides to follow the Claymore, known as Clare, on her journeys.

The pair defeat youma from town to town, learning more about Clare’s organization and her fellow warriors along the way. Clare’s goal of vengeance, one of the many reasons why she became a Claymore, now becomes closer after every town is cleansed and every demon is destroyed.

A classic shounen show, Claymore has revenge, powering up, in-training mentors, and help during a death-or-near-death situation. In this case, the biggest and most obvious twist is that all the stronger characters are women – all the roles that would’ve typically been filled by men in classic shuonen are played by women.

In contrast to a lot of other shounen, it doesn’t drag on and on or offer mindless battles or tournaments. Every character the main character fights has a good reason for being there, and some of them do indeed come back later, like in many shounen shows, but not just because they do, or just because they want to come back again, but because these characters all have reasons, some forced, some by choice, and some by both.

Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records

Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records

One of the world’s most prestigious magic schools is located in the Alzano Empire: the Alzano Imperial Magic Academy. Dedicated students train here to become competent magicians. Sistine Fibel, a stern noble, and her bright-eyed best friend Rumia Tingel attend the Academy, determined to cultivate their magical skills.

Their world, however, is thrown for a loop when their favorite teacher suddenly retires and Glenn Radars replaces him. It is not long before he finds himself at odds with the rest of his class due to his laziness and indifference toward life and magic. Furthermore, nefarious forces hidden within the empire’s walls become active, and Sistine, Rumia, and Glenn are caught up in their schemes.

In Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records, we meet Sistine, who is captivated by a mysterious floating Sky Castle; Rumia, who has a troubled past; and Glenn, who may be more than he seems. Even though they seem completely different on the surface, they are inexplicably connected by destiny.

The show follows your typical school show with action, but here’s the catch: it does everything right! Comedy, action, suspense, romance, and so much more are all present. Brilliant use of magic in a classroom setting, this show is a must-see.

With fast-paced character development, the story takes you on a rollercoaster ride. The main character, Glenn Radars, is fantastic throughout by combining the right amount of seriousness and slapstick comedy.

Each of the characters has a fascinating backstory, and they are well portrayed. The characters also get plenty of opportunities to show their personalities from various different angles. It’s a really good anime with a great story and a lot of good laughs.

    Wonder Egg Priority

    Wonder Egg Priority

The reality of Ai Ooto’s life changes after her best and only friend, Koito Nagase, commits suicide. Having nothing left to live for, she follows a mysterious entity’s instructions and purchases a Wonder Egg.

Upon breaking the egg in the world that materializes during her sleep, Ai is tasked with saving people from the adversities they face. Thus, she believes that she has taken a step closer to saving her best friend. This dangerous yet tempting opportunity places Ai in a position where she must recognize the connection between other people’s demons and her own.

A young girl uncovers the different inner struggles that plague humankind as she unravels the mythical world of Wonder Egg Priority, where dreams, regrets, and innate fears hatch.

This story is intriguing and there’s a mystery behind it, which keeps you wondering what’s going on. Numerous theories exist about where the show will go, and every episode is a joy to watch.

All the characters are female, and they are all focused on saving someone they knew who had committed suicide, binding them together, and giving them a common background. In addition to their common bond, these girls come from completely different socioeconomic and familial backgrounds and have completely different, but complementary personalities.

Each girl is well fleshed out. Generally, the cast is similar to those of most magical girl shows but goes above and beyond both in their characterization and their design, where all the girls have a story to tell and are on this journey together.

    Amagi Brilliant Park

    Amagi Brilliant Park

As a smart and narcissistic high school student, Seiya Kanie believes that the beautiful but reserved Isuzu Sento has invited him for a date to the Amagi Brilliant Park amusement park. The supposed meeting is, to his dismay, not only a run-down facility but also merely a recruitment tour where Sento and Princess Latifa Fleuranza, who owns the theme park, asks him to take over as manager.

Why are they so desperate? In a land-use contract, Amagi has less than three months to meet a quota of 500,000 guests, or the park will be shut down permanently and redeveloped by a greedy real-estate company.

Upon learning that Amagi is no ordinary amusement park, Seiya is won over by the fact that several of its employees are Maple Landers, mysterious magical beings that live among humans and are fed by the energy of people having fun. Abounding with dreams of this far-off enchanted land, Seiya must now use his many skills to restore Amagi to life, or watch it crumble before his eyes.

The characters in the anime are quite diverse, both in terms of their personalities and their backgrounds. Since Kanie meets a few park workers from episode to episode, the story introduces each character one by one. Some of the characters have stories behind them. What is great about the cast is that they are never forgotten. If they are introduced, they will eventually appear in the next episodes.

A superb job of managing the pacing gives it a full, complete feel despite its short length. By the end of the story, it’s clear that Amagi Brilliant Park is more than just a goofy comedy. There’s more to it than just a high school kid running a magical theme park.

    Akagami no Shirayuki-hime

    Akagami no Shirayuki-hime

Her name means “snow white,” but Shirayuki is a cheerful girl with red hair dedicated to her work as an apothecary at her herbal shop in the country of Tanbarun. Prince Raji, the ridiculous prince of Tanbarun, notices her and attempts to force her to become his concubine, dramatically changing her life.

As Shirayuki is unwilling to give up her freedom, she cuts off her long red hair and escapes into the forest. There, she is rescued by Zen Wistaria, the second prince of a neighboring country, and his two companions from Raji. Shirayuki hopes to be able to repay her debt to the trio one day by becoming the court herbalist in Zen’s country, Clarines.

Akagami no Shirayuki-hime chronicles Shirayuki’s journey to a new life at the royal palace of Clarines and Zen’s quest to become a prince worthy of his title. As they form loyal friendships and deadly enemies, Shirayuki and Zen slowly learn to support each other as they walk their own paths.

From a variety of perspectives, the show tells its story. Among them is the development of a relationship between Shirayuki and Zen. The two have charming chemistry from the first time they meet.

It’s more than a nod to the classic tale of Snow White. In a world where anything is possible, we meet a colorful cast of characters. The show does a great job developing its premise and sticking to it throughout its seasons. The show’s character relationships are some of its most notable highlights, which makes it worthy of praise.

From a technical perspective, this series is also a red scarlet eye candy of fantasy. The characters and the story in Akagami no Shirayuki-hime make you feel emotionally invested, and you feel like a part of something truly magical.

    Rokka no Yuusha

    Rokka no Yuusha

Legend has it that, with the return of the Demon God, the Braves of the Six Flowers will be chosen by the Goddess of Fate, giving them the ability to combat the fiends seeking to turn the world into a living hell.

Adlet Mayer, who considers himself to be the “Strongest Man in the World,” has arrived on the continent of Piena with the hope of becoming a Brave. Though it doesn’t go as planned, Adlet is ultimately selected as one of the six heroes soon after being greeted by Nashetania Loei Piena Augustra, the crown princess and fellow Brave.

In Rokka no Yuusha, the two embark on their destined journey to battle the Demon God and travel to a small temple outside the Land of the Howling Demons, the fiends’ domain, to meet up with their fellow heroes. They begin to suspect that Adlet is a fraud when they finally gather, and seven heroes are present.

Adlet must now utilize his unique skill set and his wit in a struggle for his life to find out which member of the group is the real impostor before it’s too late!

Fantasy and adventure are approached in an interesting way in the series. Instead of the group traveling together to fight enemies and reach the final boss, there’s an internal battle between the heroes. The show introduces us to the characters as it has such a colorful cast. Each one has unique qualities, personalities, and abilities.

Rokka no Yuusha might at first seem like a typical fantasy story with swords fighting. With the mystery element, however, each episode begins with a thrill that makes you want to know where it may lead.

    Little Witch Academia

    Little Witch Academia

During a magic performance many years ago, Atsuko “Akko” Kagari’s idol, the renowned witch Shiny Chariot, told her, “A believing heart is your magic!”. Since then, Akko has lived by these words and strived to be a witch like Shiny Chariot, one who makes people smile. Because of this, even though she has no magic background, she is still able to enroll at Luna Nova Magical Academy.

The trip to Akko’s new school is anything but smooth when she finally sets off to it. She befriends sarcastic Sucy Manbavaran and shy Lotte Yansson after her perilous journey. Additionally, she discovers Chariot’s wand, the Shiny Rod, which she takes for herself.

Akko will find her time at Luna Nova much more challenging than she expected. Since she refuses to stay inferior to the rest of her peers, especially to her self-proclaimed rival, the beautiful and gifted Diana Cavendish, she relies on her determination to make up for her reckless behavior and lack of magic proficiency.

During a time when wizardry is on the decline, Little Witch Academia follows Akko and her friends as they figure out what it truly means to be a witch.

As a whole, the characters in Little Witch Academia are amazing and very likable. Additionally, they have great character chemistry with one another. Akko is a fantastic female lead, too. As an ordinary girl without witch blood, she is very determined and energetic to achieve her dreams despite her limitations.

It has great world-building, great theme exploration, a likable cast from start to finish, and impressive visuals. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will smile with joy and determination while watching this show.

    Zetsuen no Tempest

    Zetsuen no Tempest

An ordinary teenager, Yoshino Takigawa, is secretly dating his best friend Mahiro’s younger sister. Following the mysterious death of his girlfriend Aika, her brother, Mahiro vows to find the killer so he can have retribution for the murder of his sister.

Yoshino has not heard from Mahiro for a month until he is accosted at gunpoint by a strange girl and his best friend arrives just in time to save him.

It is revealed to Yoshino that Mahiro has enlisted the help of a witch named Hakaze Kusaribe to find Aika’s killer, as well as the existence of an entity known as the “Tree of Exodus.” The witch’s brother selfishly desires to use the tree’s power, despite its danger to the world.

However, Hakaze is banished to an isolated island, so Yoshino and Mahiro must help her save the world while also getting closer and closer to understanding the reason for Aika’s death.

Originality, characters, and artwork are all highlights of the story. Zetsuen no Tempest is filled with action, but it’s the dialogue that will keep you on the edge of your seat. That is what happens when there is no real “bad guy” and both sides are desperately fighting for what they believe is right.

As the anime’s central themes are based on all of its central characters, despite their differing personas, character development is very important. Strength comes from intelligence – the characters carefully and cleverly plan their actions. The anime presents a story of past entanglements that is well-realized and non-contradictory with a cast that harmonizes their divergent viewpoints.

Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha: Shijou Saikyou no Maou no Shiso, Tensei shite Shison-tachi no Gakkou e Kayou

Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha Shijou Saikyou no Maou no Shiso, Tensei shite Shison-tachi no Gakkou e Kayou

Chaos and bloodshed accompanied a war between humans and demons in the distant past. With the hope of rebirth into a peaceful future, Demon King Anos Voldigoad sacrificed his life in order to bring an end to the seemingly endless conflict.

The Demon King Academy was established by the demon race in anticipation of their king’s return, in order to determine Anos’ identity when he reawakens. Two millennia later, he reincarnates, only to discover that the level of magic in the world has drastically diminished during his absence.

He discovers that demonkind remembers him differently when he enrolls at the academy to reclaim his rightful title. The man, his deeds, and even his legacy have all been fabricated — hidden beneath the name of an impostor. The “lack” of common knowledge makes him the academy’s outlier – a misfit unprecedented in history.

Despite these disadvantages, Anos remains unfazed. While searching for those responsible for altering his glorious past, he takes it upon himself to ensure his descendants know that their ruler has returned.

The other characters are awesome, and it’s all interesting. They are tropey, but they are good tropey characters that assert themselves when the opportunity arises. It doesn’t feel awkward for them to do what they do, since they are driven and driven by their own desires.

Magic and explanations in the world are well-thought-out, a world-building that gradually shows you how things work instead of bombarding you with a lot of information. Anos is the star of this show, even more than the girls and the parents. It is rare to see characters like him. When you watch this anime, your excitement will only grow.

    Kamisama Hajimemashita

    Kamisama Hajimemashita

Nanami Momozono, a high school student, has had a few problems of late, starting with her absentee father’s extreme debt that led to her family losing everything. When she is downtrodden and homeless, she comes across a man who is being attacked by a dog. Having helped him, she explains her situation and, to her surprise, he offers her his home as a gesture of gratitude.

Once she realizes that said home is a run-down shrine, she tries to leave, but is captured by two shrine spirits and a fox familiar named Tomoe. Nanami is mistaken for Mikage, the land god of the shrine she rescued. Realizing Mikage must have sent her there as a replacement god, Tomoe abruptly leaves, refusing to serve a human.

Instead of reverting to being homeless, Nanami immerses herself in her divine duties. However, if she is to maintain order, she will have to enlist the help of a particular hot-headed fox. In the process of trying to find Tomoe, she lands in trouble and ends up sealing a contract with him.

Now Nanami must traverse the path of godhood with her new familiar but it won’t be easy, for new threats will arise: a youkai who wants to eat the girl, a snake that wishes to marry her, and Nanami’s own unexpected feelings for her new familiar.

This is a lighthearted, sweet story that involves some supernatural occurrences. Hence, it makes for an excellent romantic comedy. Overall, the series is lighthearted. Nanami and Tomoe’s strange relationship dominates this series, with the comedy outweighing the romance.

Despite Kamisama Hajimemashita’s generic storyline, it still manages to be memorable. A primary aspect of the plot is how well it explains character motivations and backstories, but the primary aspect is how well it keeps the viewer engaged.

    Nagi no Asu kara

    Nagi no Asu kara

All humans used to live under the sea a long time ago. Some people, however, preferred the surface and abandoned living underwater. As a result, they lost the god-given ability to breathe underwater called “Ena.” As a result, the rift between the people of the sea and those of the surface widened, but contact between the people of the two worlds continued.

In Nagi, no Asu kara, Hikari Sakishima and Manaka Mukaido, along with their childhood friends Chisaki Hiradaira and Kaname Isaki, are forced to leave the sea and attend school on land. During that time the group meets another student and fisherman named Tsumugu Kihara, who loves the sea.

The lives of Hikari and his friends are bound to change as they have to deal with the deep hatred between the people of the sea and those on the surface, the storms in their personal lives, and a threat to everyone who dwells on the surface.

In Nagi no Asukara, you can find beautiful landscapes and feelings. It uses settings you normally don’t see in anime and it does so in style. Once again, it shows how a seemingly stereotypical concept can be extremely successful when you add a few twists to it.

It feels like every character contributes something to the bigger picture, and each has a role to play. Since the story spans a considerable amount of time, it is possible to see how everyone develops over the course of the narrative.

Each of the characters in the main cast has very specific and detailed personalities and depth behind them to the point that you never get the impression that one is any less important than the other.

Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo?

Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo

Asuka Kudou, You Kasukabe, and Izayoi Sakamaki are three unusual teenagers blessed with psychic gifts. But they are completely fed up with their mundane lives-until one day they receive a mysterious envelope in which is an invitation to a mysterious place known as Little Garden.

Inexplicably thrown into a vast new world, the trio is greeted by Kurousagi, who offers them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in high-stakes games using their abilities. To participate, however, they must first join a community.

In learning Kurousagi’s community “No Names” has lost its official status and lands due to a demon lord’s defeat, the group sets out to reclaim dignity for their new home, eager to protect the residents and discover everything Little Garden has to offer.

The story itself is served at a very fast pace, so fast that even you might not catch up. Despite this, you will never get bored. A decent amount of backstory is provided, and the majority of plotholes in history are explained briefly.

Every episode features something new and unexpected, and the jokes aren’t something that can be forgotten. The anime leaves you wanting more, and it has a little bit of everything. There is something for everyone in this anime, so everyone will enjoy it.

Our protagonists all have interesting personalities. Characters each have a unique personality that goes along with their abilities and appearance. Therefore, when these characters initiate their abilities, it feels as if their abilities are unique to them.
