Gamers Now Have Russian Studio Mundfish’s Atomic Heart To Look Forward To

Atomic Heart, an upcoming Russian, first-person perspective (FPP) video game, will soon be available for Microsoft Windows, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. The combat-focused role-playing game will be published by Mundfish, which is a Russian studio. It has previously developed Soviet Lunapark VR, an interactive video game with four characters up for choosing. An American multinational tech company, Nvidia, dropped a trailer for Atomic Heart, and it drew quite a handful of attention.

A thrilling experience of advanced weaponry

The trailer mainly shows off the Nvidia RTX, which is a graphics rendering development platform created by them and aimed at excellent real time ray tracing. It begins with an explicit content warning and gives us exactly that in a minute-long action packed sneak-peak. As the main character receives instructions from his superior about an important event on the Red Square, the camera pans to monster like creatures roaming around the premises. The viewers then look at the characters’ high-end weaponry through whatever little is shown in the trailer, and the superior going on to describe some more, including the “Drofas” and “Sipukhas.” Soon, the character is already in combat with these creatures, using his armaments to freeze and destroy them. It looks like the players will be in for a wild ride with this highly interactive FPP shooting game.

    Eager fans await the release

Although no release date has been announced yet, the trailer’s dropping is a good sign and may mean that date will be given to us soon. The game has been developing stages for the last two years after it was initially announced in 2018 and has had many demos come out in the process. Not only this but a few months ago an official announcement was made revealing that Australian composer, producer, and sound designer Mick Gordon will be taking over the soundtrack for Atomic Heart. He is best known for his work on the soundtrack of the popular video game Doom.
