Love & Marriage: Huntsville is returning for a fourth season, and it’s shaping up to be the best yet. Melody and Martell have been separated for a time, but their relationship is essentially non-existent except for co-parenting their children.
Friendships among the group are still strained as fresh secrets emerge, threatening to alter the reality show’s dynamics permanently. The fourth season picks up where the third season’s spectacular three-part reunion left off. Melody Holt and Martell Holt, Kimmi and Maurice Scott, Marsau and LaTisha Scott, Destiny Payton-Williams, and Tiffany and Louis Whitlow stay in the cast.
Melody struggles hard to keep her distance from Martell this season after seeing how intertwined his longtime mistress was in their mutual friend group during the reunion taping. She’s also suffering from the disintegration of her previously tight friendship with Payton-Williams, who is still Martell’s close friend.
While Melody is thriving professionally, Martell is attempting to reclaim his financial footing. He acknowledged struggling financially following his divorce from Melody during a co-parenting counseling session last season. In addition to his four children with Melody, he has finally publicly claimed his fifth kid, whom he shares with his mistress of nearly seven years, on the occasion of the child’s first birthday.
Blaque Cigar Lounge is quickly becoming the hottest venue in Huntsville, and Marsau and LaTisha are planning to open another in a different city. However, as LaTisha’s cousin befriends Melody, she discovers that family isn’t always trustworthy.
Kimmi and Maurice finally get to enjoy their long-awaited honeymoon, but the happiness doesn’t last long as Kimmie demands answers about Martell’s mistress’s claimed attendance at the infamous Atlanta boy’s trip. From the trailer, it’s unclear where Kimmie and LaTisha’s sister-in-law relationship stands. The Whitlows are having trouble fitting into their group of friends.
