    New Edgar Wright Horror Involves Time Travel!

    2021 has a lot in store for the horror genre, and now another addition to this year’s list has been made with Edgar Wright’s ‘Last Night in Soho’, set to release in the spooky season. Wright has previously worked on films like ‘Shaun of the Dead’ (2004) and ‘Baby Driver’ (2017). With this upcoming psychological horror film, he has fans eager and waiting for October due to reasons other than dressing up for Halloween.

    What we will get to see

    The filmstar Anya Taylor-Joy has worked on other movies like ‘Emma’ ‘Split.’ and is most famous for her recent work in the Netflix show ‘The Queen’s Gambit.’ Set in London’s Soho, the story revolves around a girl who time travels back to the 1960s mysteriously and encounters her idol. Taylor-Joy has worked on a slow burn horror before, titled ‘The Witch’ that was very well received by the audience, making this film her second time working on the same style.

    Know the team

    Wright told Empire that the film gets more intense as it goes along. He has worked with producers Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, and Nira Park for this project. The film also stars Thomas in Harcourt McKenzie (Jojo Rabbit) and Matt Smith (The Crown). The filming began in May 2019, and it was supposed to release in September 2020 but got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
