    The film, which was first revealed in May 2019, was directed by Oscar-nominated director John Madden, who is best known for his work on Shakespeare in Love.

    Michelle Ashford, best known for Showtime’s Masters of Sex, wrote the script for Operation Mincemeat, which was based on novelist and historian Ben Macintyre’s book of the same name. With producers Charles S. Cohen, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, and Kris Thykier, the picture is produced by See-Saw Films (The King’s Speech) and Cohen Media Group (Howard’s End).

    Operation Mincemeat was not designed for a streaming network, but due to Covid and the current status of cinema theatres, Netflix made an agreement with See-Saw and Cohen Media Group for a rumored $15 million to distribute the picture across North and Latin America.

    The film was supposed to be released in theatres on January 7th, 2022, however, it was pushed back to April 22nd, 2022 by Warner Brothers International. The UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg are all distributed by WB.

    As part of its 2022 movie slate revelation, Netflix stated that it would receive the film in May 2022. On May 11th, 2022, Netflix will premiere Operation Mincemeat. Operation Mincemeat will be available on Netflix in the United States, Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico.

    Netflix has announced a new price increase for its Mexican plans. This will be the company’s second price hike in less than a year, following a price hike in May 2020 due to the digital tax.

     The following are the new Netflix prices in Mexico as of November 2021:

    139 pesos for the basic package (remains)

    219 pesos for the standard package, starting at 196 pesos

    299 pesos for the premium plan, 266 pesos for the basic plan

    In the United States, Netflix is boosting rates on all of its plans today. The company’s regular plan will increase from $14 to $15.50 per month, while the 4K plan will increase from $18 to $20 per month. The base package, which does not include HD, is also increasing in price from $9 to $10 per month. Prices are also rising in Canada.

    Premium, which includes four simultaneous screens and 4K resolution, showed the highest rise. The value climbed from R $ 45.90 to R $ 55.90, a 20 percent rise.
