    Shudder Has Multiple Horror Goodies In Store For Us This September!

    For horror enthusiasts, Shudder is a must-have streaming service. Creepshow Season 3, Martyr’s Lane, and all five films in Don Coscarelli’s Phantasm trilogy are among the highlights of their September slate. Below is a list of Shudder’s September line-up.

    Creepshow season 3

    The anthology Creepshow, based on the 1982 horror comedy hit, is back for a third season and is still the most fun you’ll ever have getting scared! In a series of vignettes, a comic book is brought to life, with terrors ranging from murder, creatures, monsters, and delusions to the mysterious and incomprehensible. You never know what you’ll find on the following page. It’ll premiere on the 23rd of September.

    1Slasher: Flesh & Blood

    Slasher: Flesh & Blood stars horror legend David Cronenberg as an affluent, dysfunctional family who gathers on a secluded island for a reunion only to discover they’ll be pitted against one another in a vicious game of life and death, all while being hunted by a mystery masked killer. As the tension – and the dead count – rises, nothing is as it seems, and no one is safe.

    Superhost

    Teddy and Claire are travel vloggers that manage the “SUPERHOST” channel, where they travel and share their experiences in and around vacation homes, and have been successful at it until lately. When they meet Rebecca, the host of their most recent trip, they realise they have the perfect opportunity to generate material that people want to watch. They gradually understand that something is wrong with Rebecca, and when they look into it further, they discover a shocking truth. She isn’t looking for a good review; she is looking for something considerably worse.

    Brandon Christensen wrote and directed the film. It will air on September 2nd, starring Sara Canning, Osric Chau, Gracie Gilliam, and Barbara Crampton.

     

    Martyrs Lane

    Leah, 10, lives with her parents and nasty older sister in a huge, run-down vicarage. She’s perplexed by her mother’s aloof demeanour and enthralled by the locket she wears around her neck. The vicarage seems to come alive with sounds at night. Leah notices the locket on the bathroom shelf one morning. She unlocks it and takes what she discovers inside, setting in motion a chain of events that would transform the sounds she hears at night into something far more terrifying.

    Ruth Platt wrote and directed the film. Denise Gough, Anastasia Hille, and Steven Cree star in the film, which will release on September 9th.

    Séance

    Camille Meadows has just started at the elite Edelvine Academy for Girls as a new student. Six girls encourage her to join them in a late-night ceremony to summon the spirit of a deceased former student who is said to haunt their halls shortly after she arrives. However, one of the girls dies before sunrise, leaving the others to wonder what they have awoken.

    Simon Barrett wrote and directed the film. Suki Waterhouse, Madisen Beaty, and Inanna Sarkis star in this film which will air on September 29.
