The Book of Boba Fett director Robert Rodriguez is optimistic that Star Wars fans will enjoy it. The show stars Temuera Morrison as the titular bounty hunter and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, and it is a spinoff of the hit Disney+ series The Mandalorian. Filming on the series finished earlier this summer, ahead of a December launch on Disney+.
Robert Rodriguez directed multiple episodes of The Book of Boba Fett in addition to serving as an executive producer. While he is unable to reveal any precise details about the upcoming series, the director assures fans that the Star Wars enthusiasm is genuine. Rodriguez stated in a new interview with Collider that fans will be ecstatic with the spinoff when it premieres, similar to how the previous two seasons of The Mandalorian were received.

Morrison’s Boba Fett was officially introduced in the season 2 episode “Chapter 14: The Tragedy,” after appearing briefly in prior episodes of The Mandalorian. It’s natural that Rodriguez directed that episode because it was essential in establishing the spinoff series.
The Book of Boba Fett was formally announced in December, and it will be a spinoff of The Mandalorian. Filming on Ming-Na Wen’s upcoming film has been completed, according to Ming-Na Wen.
He did not reveal much, but said that we’ll see his past and where he’s been since The Empire Strikes Back in the plot of The Book of Boba Fett, according to Morrison. In December 2021, Disney+ will release The Book of Boba Fett. The first two seasons of The Mandalorian are currently available on the streamer.
