Janelle James, one of the stars of ABC’s smash comedy Abbott Elementary, is committing to the Disney-owned network for a second season.
She is the host of the game show The Final Straw, which includes NFL legend Peyton Manning as an executive producer.
The network announced last month that the Jenga-like structure will premiere on July 10 among shows like Celebrity Family Feud and The $100,000 Pyramid.
It pits four teams of contestants against each other in a battle against massive teetering towers. Contestants try to successfully take items from the stack without tipping it over in order to win rewards. Each life-sized themed tower is chock-full of diverse objects ranging from basketballs to small kitchen appliances. If the tower collapses, the team is eliminated, and the remaining teams will participate in The Mega Stack, an epic physics duel in which the odds are actually stacked against them, in the hopes of winning a life-changing grand prize.
