Home Sweet Home Alone is a Christmas comedy film directed by Dan Mazer and written by Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell. Home Alone 6 is the sixth entry in the Home Alone series. The film is a Disney+ original film produced by 20th Century Studios, and it is the first 20th Century Studios film to be distributed via the streaming service.
It was announced following The Walt Disney Company’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox, which included the Home Alone film rights. Kenan Thompson, Ellie Kemper, Rob Delaney, Pete Holmes, Ally Maki, Archie Yates, Aisling Bea, and Chris Parnell are among the cast members.

This new instalment of the famous Hollywood franchise is directed by Dan Mazer. It follows a mischievous young kid named Max Mercer who is played by Archie Yates, who is left behind when his family travels to Japan for the holidays, which seems like a throwback to Kevin’s situation.
Being all alone, Max must now defend a rare artefact that is in his house from a couple played by Ellie Kemper and Rob Delaney, who are attempting to take it from his family’s home. Of course, his strategy includes a few booby traps and a lot of chaos. Kenan Thompson, Aisling Bea, Pete Holmes, Tim Simons, and others also appear in the film.
Where to Stream Home Sweet Home Alone?
Back in 2019, Disney revealed that a reboot titled Home Sweet Home Alone would be released by them. However, because to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was postponed, as were many other films scheduled to be released in 2020.
Now, Disney has announced that the adventure comedy picture will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on November 12th, just in the nick of time for the holiday season.
