Where Can I Watch Finding Magic Mike: Season 1 (2021)?

HBO Max has released a new trailer and key art for its upcoming unscripted competition series ‘Finding Magic Mike’, that will transform a group of men and help them find their magic. Channing Tatum, director Steven Soderbergh and writer Reid Carolin are reuniting for the third instalment in the popular “Magic Mike” franchise in the world of male stripping. The first Magic Mike movie became a runaway hit when it was released in 2012. The second film, Magic Mike XXL, was released in 2015 to moderate critical and commercial success.

Finding Magic Mike assembles 10 men “regular guys” from across the country who feel like they’ve lost their, well, magic. As they strip off their clothes, they will rid themselves of emotional baggage and regain their mojo. The show puts these men through the wringer of a Magic Mike-style boot camp, where they learn sexy and daring dance routines in search of being crowned “the real Magic Mike” and a cash prize.

The central thrust of the show, so to speak, involves guys who’re feeling down and out getting their mojo back. One contestant is dealing with a divorce, another is insecure about his appearance.

As choreographer Alison Faulk says in the trailer, “It’s not about finding the best dancer, it’s about helping these guys find their magic, using dance as one of the vehicles.” Two men will be given the opportunity to perform on the blockbuster Magic Mike Live stage in Las Vegas, but only one will win and take home a cash prize of $100,000.

Along with Rodriguez who is one of the main mentors on the series and Broadlick, the “Finding Magic Mike” cast includes Alison Faulk and Vincent Marini. Whitney Cummings, Nikki Glaser, Nicole Scherzinger, Amanda Seales and Robin Thede serve as guest judges.

Tatum may have made those kinds of dances look easy in the two Magic Mike movies, but clearly there are growing pains involved. The new trailer for Finding Magic Mike finds one guy getting his shirt stuck on his head in the middle of a strip tease, and others learning how to pull off dance moves.

The most outrageous bit comes at the end, when one contestant starts unleashing his moves on an older woman on stage. Just like the movies, the reality series also pretends like it’s one thing, but seems like it’s going to be something else.
