The 30-minute Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas from Aardman is a brand-new Christmas caper starring everyone’s favourite animated sheep!
Shaun has additionally starred in a pair of feature-length films, the first of which was simply called “Shaun the Sheep Movie” and the second of which boasted the marvellous title “A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon.” He’s now in the process of getting his own winter holiday special, dubbed “Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas.” At the time of writing, the only confirmed member of the voice cast is Justin Fletcher, who has voiced the character since the show debuted way back in 2007.
This half an hour short film finds Shaun and his fellow farm animals getting ready for the winter holidays. The rest of the Flock are waking up to a true winter wonderland on Mossy Bottom Farm.
There’s a Christmas market in town, the decorations are up, and Shaun has packed Timmy inside a present to hide him whilst Shaun’s seasonal excitement turns to dismay as there was a raid to get bigger stockings for the Flock. This inadvertently leads to Timmy (one of the members of the Flock) going missing. Can Shaun get Timmy back before he becomes someone else’s present?
