Where To Watch “After Life: Season 3”?

Ricky Gervais conceptualized, wrote, produced, and directed After Life, a British black comedy-drama streaming television series in which he also stars. On March 8, 2019, it was made available on Netflix. On April 24, 2020, the second season will premiere.

Following newspaper journalist Tony Johnson, whose life is flipped upside down when his wife dies of breast cancer After Life is set in the fictional village of Tambury. He considers suicide but instead decides to spend the rest of his life punishing the world for the death of his wife by saying and doing anything he wants, regardless of the consequences. Despite the fact that he regards this as his “superpower,” his plan is thwarted when everyone around him feels sorry for him and attempts to help him better.

Kerry Godliman portrays Tony’s late wife Lisa, Ashley Jensen portrays Tony’s father’s nurse, Roisin Conaty portrays local prostitute Daphne, Diane Morgan portrays Tony’s colleague, Tony Way portrays Tony’s colleague and friend, Mandeep Dhillon portrays a trainee journalist, David Bradley portrays Tony’s father, Tom Basden portrays Tony’s boss and brother-in-law Matt, Penelope Wilton portrays widow Anne, and Paul Julian, played by Tim Plester, is unlikely to reappear unless, like Lisa, he returns in flashbacks.

Let’s quickly recap the last events of Season 2. Tony appears to be recovering from his loss day by day during the town’s talent show, but he experiences yet another setback before the season’s finish. In the nursing home, his father, played by David Bradley, succumbs to dementia. We anticipate a full funeral in Season 3 at some point.

Matt’s marriage looks to have been patched up during season 2, though whether or not it will last may be addressed in the future.

We’ll also see how Tony copes with the death of his father, as well as how his connection with Emma blossoms (or fizzles out) once her identity is revealed in season 2.

Obviously, much of what we know about the cast is speculative at this point. We can expect further memories via Tony’s laptop, as well as the introduction of new individuals.
