DO, RE, & MI is a preschool cartoon about three young birds named Do, Re, and Mi, who live in a vibrant, music-filled environment near each other. The birds are guided in their everyday lives by the moon, Maestro Moon, and the stars, Melody and Harmony.

They’re buddies that assist each other overcome obstacles like missing someone, being brave in a storm, or forgetting to look after themselves while they’re busy.

The stories in Do, Re, and Mi aren’t particularly deep or intriguing, but the music is quite fantastic. A heroine who loves her pal terribly is taught how to sing the blues (by award-winning singer and actor Bell in this case), and she belts out a bluesy song that is both distinctive for the Elmo scene and perfectly fitting.
