According to CBR, “The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse” will return for a second season, giving Disney+ users additional adventures with Mickey and his friends.
In “The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse,” Mickey and his friends — Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto – embark on their most exhilarating adventures yet, navigating the curveballs of a crazy and humorous world where Disney’s magic makes the unthinkable possible. Each seven-minute short features laugh-out-loud comedy, current settings, timeless stories, new music, and the “Mickey Mouse” shorts’ unmistakable classic art style. The series will feature storylines based on various Disney Parklands, as well as cameo appearances by famous Disney characters.
The second season will be unique in that it will consist of four extended-length episodes based on the seasons of winter, spring, summer, and fall. The Winter episode, the first of the second season, will broadcast on Disney+ in winter 2022, with more episodes following in 2023.
