    Cassie, played by Nickelodian’s Victoria Justice is a young woman who just wants to forget about her issues by partying them away, a massive social butterfly at heart. Cassie, on the other hand, overindulges on her 25th birthday and ends up dead in a restroom. Cassie’s soul is condemned to go straight to Hell because she still has unfinished work on Earth.

    Cassie’s guardian angel, Val, offers her five days to haunt her loved ones, make amends, and try to get a sweet position in Heaven. As a lovely ghost who enjoys pop music, Cassie must either mend the connections she shattered in life or suffer a fiery fate.

    Filming for Afterlife of the Party began in October 2020 and ended in December of same year. During the pandemic, filming took occurred, implying that strong social distancing and testing methods were in place.

    Filming became a supported activity throughout the brunt of the pandemic, with financial expenses amounting in at just about $10 million, according to sources, with three production firms engaged.

    ‘Afterlife of the Party’ was shot in the Western Cape province of South Africa by Herek, Cinematographer Michael Swan, and the rest of the cast and crew. The production reportedly began on October 21, 2020, and ended on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2020. Justice took to Instagram a week later to thank the folks who helped her with the endeavour.

    The film ‘Afterlife of the Party’ was shot mainly in and around Cape Town, in the South African province of the Western Cape. The Mother City has also become a popular filmmaking destination thanks to its highly efficient workforce and cutting-edge facilities.

    ‘Mad Max: Fury Road,’ ‘The Empty Man,’ and ‘Tomb Raider’ were among the films shot in the city. While in Cape Town, the cast and crew of the eerie comedy flick published various images on their own social media profiles.

    Despite the fact that the majority of the film was shot inside, Cape Town was employed as the gorgeous backdrop for Cassie’s blootered escapades when external shots were needed. To fill out the background of the film’s earlier sequences, many hotspots, bars, and restaurants were utilised.

    Advantage Media, one of the three production companies on board, was no stranger to shooting in South Africa, having previously produced Netflix’s action thriller Santana.

    According to reports, most of the interior images were shot in a studio to save money, with Cape Town occasionally showing in the background.
