Where Can I Watch Growing Up Hip Hop: Season 7 (2022)?

Growing Up Hip Hop is an American reality television series and already a growing franchise that premiered on the WE tv channel on January 7, 2016. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to grow up with a famous parent?

Well, wonder no more, because “Growing Up Hip Hop” has been giving us a glimpse into the lives of hip-hop stars and their children for six seasons.  Its success has led to the creation of spin-offs Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta and Growing Up Hip Hop: New York. The series is executive produced by Datari Turner Productions and Entertainment One Studios.

Growing up with a famous parent isn’t easy, as the children often have to work hard to emerge from their parents’ shadows and gain independence — especially if they want entertainment careers of their own.

Throughout Season 6, viewers got acquainted with Cree Campbell, daughter of hip-hop icon Uncle Luke. And while many viewers believe she has been a great addition to the cast, others are not quite sold as of yet. Season 6 just finished airing, with the last eight episodes being a spin-off called “Brat Loves Judy,” focusing on famed rapper Da Brat and her fiancé, Jesseca “Judy” Dupart.

The show has detailed the home lives of numerous stars in the music industry for six seasons, and fans can’t get enough. Season 7 of “Growing Up Hip Hop” promises even more of the good stuff. The next generation of hip-hop royalty must take charge of their own lives as they risk it all to step out of their iconic parent’s shadow.

From relationship feuds to family squabbles, this season looks quite promising on the entertainment front. Over the years, fans have been very vocal about their dislike for specific cast members — like Sam Mattick and Egypt Criss— and it appears that Season 7 may bring about the same sentiments.

With big names like Angela Simmons, the daughter of Run-D.M.C.’s Rev Run and a model and fashion designer; Romeo Miller who has followed in the footsteps of his father, Master P, in becoming a musician; Briana Latrise, Mary J. Blige’s stepdaughter among those featured in the past; entrepreneur Damon “Boogie” Dash is the son of former record executive Damon Dash; singer Kristinia DeBarge, the daughter of James DeBarge, struggles to choose between family and fame; TJ Mizell, a DJ whose father was Run-D.M.C. member Jam Master Jay, views Angela as a family since both of their dads were in Run-D.M.C.; and aspiring singer Egypt Criss gets her talent from both mom and dad — Pepa from Salt-N-Pepa and Treach from Naughty by Nature, it’s sure to be an interesting season. Fans can expect to see rapper and fan-favorites Lil Twist, and Tahira “Tee Tee” Francis make their return.

Following the birth of her new child, Angela Simmons is set to open up about her breakup and public perception of her life as an unmarried mother. Meanwhile, her sister Vanessa Simmons speaks about her desire to get closer with her sister as Angela remains focused on her career and prompts a sibling rivalry.

Following the conflict with Master P and Romeo Miller, it would be no surprise if much of a new season focused on Angela’s relationships.

However, with so much interest in continuing the storylines, ongoing drama between castmates, and rapidly changing lives of the rich and famous, there is no shortage of material. Stay tuned for updates on what’s to come with “Growing Up Hip Hop.”
