Cross franchise productions and more
The franchise has been incredibly successful in its run over the last 40 years, spawning numerous novels, comics, video games, and television series. Several spin-offs have also been made, most notably the incredibly successful Alien vs. Predator Franchise, which combines the Alien franchise with another hit franchise, the Predator franchise, which has its own two movies and comics, books and video games. The franchise has been incredibly profitable, too, at its total worldwide gross impact valued well over a billion US Dollars by some sources.
