A New Animated Series For Transformers Is Making Its Way To Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon is all set to expand its Transformers universe with a brand new entry. They have announced a new animated series for the franchise, and it has been confirmed for 26 episodes, spanning over half an hour each. This brand new faction of Transformers will exist alongside Decepticons, Autobots, and a human family that will adopt them. A date for the premiere of the series has not been revealed yet. Nickelodeon has not released any statement on whether the series will tie into the same continuity as Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy or the Transformers: Prime Wars Trilogy. The co-production with eOne for the series is Nickelodeon’s strategy to expand the franchise and its portfolio.
