Two New Terrifying Tales From Creepshow Will Be Featured On The Upcoming Scholastic Novel Based On The Show

American anthology horror Creepshow (based on the classic film, of course) started airing on Shudder and AMC+ in 2019 and had to come to an abrupt halt in 2020 before the release of its second season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Each season consists of six episodes, and the creator of this show is Christopher Drake. While season 2 of Creepshow got delayed, makers tried their best to keep fans occupied with something. An animated special released on Halloween featured two scary stories. In December, they received a holiday special in the form of an episode, originally made for the second season that ran for an entire hour and made it more detailed than it would have been in the anthology.

What we know about the stories so far

Now, another little surprise has come for the fans in the written form! Based on this Shudder show, a scholastic novel is in development and will be available for purchase from April 6th. The book is written by Elley Cooper, titled Creepshow: The Cursed and will feature two brand-new spine-chilling stories. The first story will revolve around a girl who is so fascinated by the older days that her time-travel fantasies come true in the scariest way possible, thanks to antique jewellery she purchased. The second story will be about a pair of teenagers that come face to face with a mysterious creature in the woods. The creature glows in green, and its wants are not known.

Creepshow has always had plenty in store for their fans

Recently, with the announcement of season two finally releasing in April and the show already being renewed for a third season, fans cannot keep calm. The third season will focus mostly on black storytellers of the horror genre. The second season will be available to stream on AMC+ starting 1st of April this year.
