Bloody Disgusting’s own Mike Pereira has started working on a brand-new horror thriller film titled Chamber of Terrors. The website has been running for over twenty long years, and Pereira was one of the writers behind their festivals. Due to his talent, he had the opportunity to become the first from an online-only entertainment platform to have attended the Toronto International Film Festival. Chamber of Terrors is an independent feature film for which the principal photography began just this morning.
What director Pereira has in mind for the film’s outcome
Timothy Paul McCarthy, who played the role of Nash Caruthers in Deathbox, Zandavi Lives, and Nash Caruthers, will be reprising this role in Chamber of Terrors. Alongside him, Jessica Vano and Ry Barrett will also be a part of the cast. Director Pereira says that he has always been inclined towards films where an unlikely group of people finds themselves together. It is always interesting to watch the series of events that take place one after the other, the way they react to the situation they are in, and how they react to each other. He has done exactly this with Chamber of Terrors and hopes that audience will love it as much as he does. Produced by Craig Lobo, this film will embrace the classic 80’s style of horror and practical effects, both of which Pereira is excited to see pan out.

Detailed poster analysis of the film
The film’s poster looks just as terrifying as its title as we see a young woman crying and screaming out of utter fear as someone grabs her by her hair, her hands tied. Instead of a gun, it is a drilling machine that is being held to her head, and this may imply that the purpose here is not murder but torture. As scared as she looks, she may be partly responsible for this attack on her, as we can see occult symbols on her hoodie. Perhaps this is the result of experimentation with the paranormal gone wrong. The audience can reach answers this year itself as the chamber is “open for business”.
