After numerous delays, Movie Games Lunarium’s Lust from Beyond, has finally been released on Steam. Inspired by Lovecraft and the works by H.R. Ginger and Zdzislaw Beksinski the game has a trailer to accompany its release as a game. Accompanied by a press release, the game has been announced as the second most awaited game on the online platform Steam. As a compensatory measure for the delays, Steam has a 10% launch discount.
What the game is all about:
The plot revolves around Victor Holloway a man who is tormented by visions. To look for answers, Victor joins the Cult of Ecstasy. The members of the cult, all follow the Victor’s visions, decide to enter Lusst’ghaa- The Land of Ecstasy beyond the borders of reality. With heavy undertones and strong bases in the occult, the game creates an unsettling atmosphere with a lot of horror which comes as a treat to the consumers. The game has minimal combat, which honestly is refreshing with a recent slew of games of the same genre prioritizing combat over the actual theme of the game.

The perfect trailer that does not give away too much.
The game contains 15 chapters and a short epilogue. But they are not all the same size or intensity which is a valid complaint. The two prologue episodes will add approximately an hour and a half to your experience and neither will contain a spoiler to the actual game. Fair disclaimer, there are some trigger warnings warranted with the game.
