Memory is a new American action thriller film directed by Martin Campbell and written by Dario Scardapane. It is based on Jef Geeraerts’ novel De Zaak Alzheimer and is a remake of the Belgian film The Alzheimer Case, which was based on the novel. Liam Neeson, Guy Pearce, Monica Bellucci, Harold Torres, Taj Atwal, and Ray Fearon star in the film.
Liam Neeson is about to return to the world of action-thrillers with the announcement of the release date for his latest flick. Memory, directed by Martin Campbell, will be released in theatres in the United States on April 29, 2022. The project was first unveiled in April, with Briarcliff Entertainment partnering with Open Road Films to acquire distribution rights.
After refusing to finish a mission that goes against his values, an experienced assassin named Alex Lewis (played by Neeson) must quickly track down the individuals who hired him before they, or the FBI, locate him first. Alex is a master of vengeance, but as his memory deteriorates, the line between good and wrong blurs, forcing him to rethink his every action.
“I’m excited to premiere this film with our friends at Open Road/Briarcliff, and I can’t wait for viewers to watch Liam Neeson’s terrific performance and the film’s excellent supporting ensemble,” Campbell said in a statement supplied by the studio. “As the year draws to a close, we’re looking forward to kicking off the new year with a bang by premiering in theatres for everyone to enjoy.”
Along with Guy Pearce and Monica Bellucci, Liam Neeson will star in this next thriller. Following Honest Thief, The Marksman, and the upcoming Blacklight, Memory is the actor’s fourth collaboration with Briarcliff Entertainment/Open Road Films.
Memory was written by Dario Scardapane and directed by Campbell. Cathy Schulman, Moshe Diamant, Rupert Maconick, Michael Heimler, and Arthur Sarkissian are producing this thriller. Teddy Schwarzman, Peter Bouckaert, Ben Stillman, James Masciello, Rudy Durand, Matthew Sidari, and Tom Ortenberg serve as executive producers.
