The novel series was written by Quantum and published by Kakuyomu. It was first published in January 2017 and is still ongoing.

Crunchyroll announced the official release of the anime adaption of “I’m Quitting Heroing” on October 20, 2021. Crunchyroll, being a large streaming network, will almost certainly obtain a license to broadcast it outside of Japan. In terms of the anime’s release date, the anime adaptation of I’m Quitting Heroing will be aired in April 2022, specifically April 7.
