Beasters Season 3 – Everything We Know So Far

An action/drama anime series, Beasters is based on Paru Itagaki’s original manga. Studio Orange created an anime version of the manga once it became successful. The adaption was first released locally in 2019 before being distributed internationally by Netflix the following year. Netflix began streaming the entire second season on July 15, 2021.

The series is based in a civilized society of anthropomorphic animals, where there is an uneasy tension that exists between carnivores and herbivores. This mutual distrust reaches a pinnacle at Cherryton Academy with the death of Tem, an alpaca in the drama club, in a predation incident. Legoshi, a grey wolf in Tem’s stage crew, has spent his entire life as a target of suspicion and fear. He continues to disguise his menacing traits in the early aftermath of the catastrophe, much to the annoyance of Louis, a red deer, and the drama club’s domineering star actor.

Louis assigns Legoshi to lookout duty as he sneaks into the auditorium to train Tem’s substitute for an upcoming production. Legoshi had a momentous encounter with Haru, a white dwarf rabbit scorned by her peers, that very night. His growing feelings for Haru, which are complicated by his predatory instincts, lead him to confront his actual nature, the circumstances surrounding his friend’s death, and the world’s undercurrent of violence.

Following the release of Season 2, fans are already wondering if the series will be continued.  Here’s what we know thus far about Season 3 of “Beastars.”

Will there be a third season of ‘Beastars’?

Season 3 of ‘Beastars’ has been officially renewed.

The renewal was revealed in July of last year on the creators’ official Twitter page. However, there is some bad news. Studio Orange revealed a new logo for the anime series in December 2021, as well as the fact that the third season will be the final one.

According to previous schedules, season 3 of ‘Beastars’ would most likely premiere in Japan in mid-2022 and then be released on Netflix a few months later.

The first season of ‘Beastars’ aired on Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming block from October to December 2019. In March 2020, it was released on Netflix.

The second season of the show aired from January to March 2021 and was released in July on Netflix.

What Will Be The Plot Of ‘Beastars’ Season 3?

What Will Be The Plot Of 'Beastars' Season 3

Based on where season 2 concluded, we may guess the plot of the third season and compare it to the manga’s story arc.

In season 2, Tem’s killer is finally revealed. Riz, the bear, was the nighttime killer who devoured the alpaca. In a brutal battle, Legoshi faced off against Riz, which ended with Louis sacrificing his leg so Legoshi could eat meat for the first time. Legoshi gained greater power as a result of this, and he was able to overcome Riz.

In the coming seasons, that incident will be a turning point in Legoshi’s life.

Both Legoshi and Riz are arrested by the police at the end of the battle. Despite the fact that Legoshi will not have a misdemeanor criminal record for eating Louis’ flesh, he will be labeled as a predatory offender. In the civilized, anthropomorphic world, eating the flesh of another living animal is strictly forbidden.

Legoshi will have a difficult time resuming his normal life due to his criminal record. He is no longer permitted to unsegregated universities, and no herbivore-owned companies will be interested in hiring him. Worst of all, he will no longer be permitted to marry a herbivore and would be compelled to leave Haru without explanation.

Following the incident, Legoshi will attempt to navigate his new life in the third season.

The events serve as an excellent catapult for Season 3, which should pick up where Season 2 left off in Volume 12 and adapt the manga from there. In the next chapters, Legoshi and Louis continue to work to bridge the gap between carnivores and herbivores. Merino and Yahya, two new herbivores, become friends with Legoshi. Legoshi and Louis, meanwhile, must “come to terms with their father figures.” As a result, if and when “Beastars” Season 3 airs, the stage is set for even more drama and action.
