Where Can I Watch Loot: Season 1 (2022)?

The release date for Apple TV+’s new comedy series “Loot,” starring and executive produced by Emmy Award winner Maya Rudolph (“Saturday Night Live,” “Bridesmaids”), was announced on April 12th. The 10-episode workplace comedy from Emmy Award-winning creators Alan Yang (“Little America,” “Master of None”) and Matt Hubbard (“30 Rock,” “Forever”) will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, June 24 with the first three episodes, followed by one new episode every Friday thereafter.

In March 2021, Apple TV+ announced that an untitled comedy starring Maya Rudolph, produced by Matt Hubbard and Alan Yang, had been ordered to series. Michaela Jaé Rodriguez was cast in May, followed by Joel Kim Booster in July. In November, Olivier Martinez was cast in a recurring role. During the series’ first look, Nat Faxon and Ron Funches would be revealed as members of the main cast.

The series will begin filming on September 6, 2021. Maya Rudolph will star in the forthcoming workplace comedy series Loot, which will premiere on Apple TV+ on Friday, June 24.

Rudolph will executive produce alongside Alan Yang (Little America, Master of None) and Matt Hubbard (30 Rock, Forever) on the 10-episode series, which will premiere with three episodes on premiere day. Along with Rudolph, the series stars Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Ron Funches, Nat Faxon, and Joel Kim Booster, all of whom appear in the recently published photographs.

Along with Rudolph, stars Michaela Jaé Rodriguez (“Pose”), Ron Funches (“Undateable”), Nat Faxon (“Married”), and Joel Kim Booster (“Sunnyside”) lead the “Loot” ensemble cast.

Loot follows millionaire Molly Novak (Rudolph), who has been living the life of a billionaire, complete with private jets, a vast mansion, and a gigayacht. Molly can’t contain her anger after her husband of 20 years betrays her and she openly spirals, even though she has everything she wants.

Molly is astonished to hear that she has a charity foundation administered by the no-nonsense Sofia Salinas (Rodriguez), who begs Molly to quit bringing negative press on herself as she becomes media fodder and reaches rock bottom. Molly goes on a quest of self-discovery with the support of her dedicated assistant Nicholas (Kim Booster), Sofia, and her team, which includes mild-mannered accountant Arthur and her pop-culture enthusiast cousin Howard (Funches).

She’ll realise along the way that giving back to others may be just what she needs to reconnect with herself. Loot is executive produced by Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Renfrew Behrens, and Dave Becky, in addition to Yang, Hubbard, and Rudolph. Keep an eye out for Loot on Apple TV+ this summer, and stay tuned for more first glimpses as the premiere approaches.

Yang and Hubbard developed, wrote, and executive produced “Loot.” Through their Animal Pictures, Rudolph, Natasha Lyonne, and Danielle Renfrew Behrens executive produce. 3 Arts’ Dave Becky also acts as executive producer. Universal Television, a part of Universal Studio Group, is producing “Loot” for Apple.

Following the three-time Independent Spirit Award, BAFTA, and NAACP Image Award nominated anthology series “Little America,” this is Apple TV+’s second collaboration with Yang.

Molly Novak (Maya Rudolph) is a billionaire with a dream life that includes private jets, a spacious mansion, and a gigayacht – anything her heart desires. When her 20-year-husband betrays her, she explodes in public, becoming tabloid fodder. She’s at her lowest point when she discovers, to her amazement, that she has a charity foundation overseen by the stern Sofia Salinas (Michaela Jaé Rodriguez), who begs Molly to stop causing trouble.

Molly goes on a journey of self-discovery with the support of her dedicated assistant Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster) and Sofia and her crew, which includes mild-mannered accountant Arthur (Nat Faxon) and her upbeat, pop-culture-loving cousin Howard (Ron Funches). Giving back to others could be just what she needs to reclaim her identity.
