Another Japanese anime is all ready to be premiered. A new anime television series titled “Engaged Kiss” will be aired soon. The series is under the direction of Tomoya Tanaka. The series is written by Fumiaki Maruto. Yoshiaki Fujisawa is responsible for producing music. A-1 Pictures-a Japanese animation studio will be looking after its production. The series will be released on television platforms like- Tokyo MX, GYT, GTV, BS11, Gunma, Tochigi Tv, ABC, and Metele. Tsunako is looking after the characters’ designs. Project Engage is looking after its manufacturing.
Before the release of the anime, let’s have a preview of the plot of the series. The setting is in the city of Bayron. A city floats on the Pacific Ocean and does not belong to any particular continent. The city is known for mining Orgonium. For the Orgonium, havoc is caused by the devils which are known as Demon disasters or D disasters. As the city’s police alone fail to handle the attack, PMC or a Private Military Company arrives at the scene to aid.
One of the citizens of the city- Shu also runs the organization. The female lead Kisara- a high school student is in love with Shu and is loyal to him. Though Kisara has competition too, Ayano, another lead and Shu’s ex-girlfriend who worked with him at PMC, keeps on showing interest in Shu. Jealousy develops by Kisara.
The series will include a long list of characters like- Shu Ogata voiced by Soma Saito. He works under PMC. His prime job is to examine demons. Kisara voiced by Saya Aizawa. She is a demon girl who assists Shu as per their contract in handling demons. She possesses a strong desire for Shu. Ayano Yugiriis voiced by Lynn. She is an intelligent agent and daughter of the President of PMC, Sharon Holygrail by Rumi Okubo. She forms part of the world’s largest exorcist party. A cold-hearted character.
When Is the anime Engage Kiss Season 1 set to premiere?
The series is planned to be released on July 2, 2022. The number of episodes however is unknown.
What will be the storyline of Engage Kiss Season 1?
It is later revealed that Kisara is actually a devil. On this realization, Shu and Kisara enter into an agreement. As per it, Kisara agrees to help him against the attack of the demons and to save his city. In return, she asks for a kiss. A deadly and dangerous kiss, Risking it all, Shu agrees to accept the agreement for the sake of his city.
What will follow the fate of our lead Shu as he will risk his life to save his city? In the series, it will also be revealed how Kisara convinces Shu to agree to the contract. Ayano and Kisara’s jealous relationship will also be explored. Also, the fans will come to know about their relationship of Shu with Ayano.
Plus, as the protagonist is always in the need of money, his personal life will be brought into focus. The plot will be dealing with Demon Disasters. The series might cover demon possession too, which means making deals with demons to accept their superiority. With the release of the series, the fans will also see how the private military company deals with the situation.
