    Evil Dead: The Game Is All Guts, Gore And Glory – First Glimpse Into The Gameplay!

    Evil Dead: The Game is coming, and Bruce Campbell was on hand to show off the first look at the gameplay at Summer Game Fest. It lets you play as the legendary Ash as well as a slew of other characters from the film and television franchise, and there’s only one word to describe it: groovy.

    Fans have been waiting for a long time to see the latest appearance of their favourite chainsaw-wielding Deadite destroyer since the game was unveiled at The Game Awards in 2020. It’s safe to say that today’s reveal at Summer Game Fest was a huge success. Campbell introduced us to Ash and the other characters we could control in the online team-based game.

    According to the game’s official description, “Put yourself in the shoes of Ash Williams or his companions from the cult classic Evil Dead franchise and team up in a game packed with over-the-top co-op and PVP multiplayer action! The game is inspired by the Starz original Ash versus Evil Dead television series as well as all three original Evil Dead films. You get to play as a team of four survivors who explore, manage their fears, loot and locate essential objects to plug the breach between worlds.”

    Unlike previous games in the franchise, you can choose to play the Kandarian Demon and take control of Deaditesand even the major protagonists to swallow their souls and bring Ash’s destruction. Fans can now fight the Deadite armies as Ash, his original pal Scotty, Army of Darkness’ Lord Arthur, or Ash Vs Evil Dead’s Kelly and Pablo. With dialogue recorded specially for the game, it brings the movies to gamers like never before, with incredible character likenesses, over-the-top blood and gore and swooping camera views of the demon spirit.

    Saber interactive will release the game on multiple platforms later this year including, PC, Xbox One, Xbox X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
