Sailor Moon’s Initial Plot
It’s about a middle school girl with a crybaby personality, Usagi Tsukino. She saves a cat one day that has a crescent moon mark on its head from some boys. Later, the cat visits Usagi and says their meeting wasn’t a coincidence. She’s destined to become a Sailor Moon who’s a Planetary Guardian.
It is her duty to protect the earth, so she transforms into her Sailor Moon avatar by wearing a brooch. The same cat, named Luna, gave her the brooch. It is now her responsibility to find all of her lost planetary guardians and the lost princess. In order to save their planet from many of the threats ahead, they set out on a journey of discovery.
Sailor Moon Cosmos Movie: What can we expect?
The Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos Movie will adapt the final arc of the manga, Shadow Galactica. A continuation of the previous two-part film, in which the guardians took on the Dead Moon Circus. The evil force behind it was Queen Nehelenia. In the end, she was defeated by Usagi, who transformed into her Eternal Sailor Moon avatar. Together with the ten reunited guardians.

Sailor Moon Cosmos Movie Release Schedule
During the Sailor Moon 30th anniversary celebration, the release schedule was announced with a teaser. The Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos Movie is scheduled to release in the summer of 2023. It will get an early July release, and the two parts of the movie will be released consecutively.
