The cast of John Wick: Chapter 4 is quickly coming together, with numerous fresh names joining the cast recently. Wesley Snipes, who played Blade in the film, is currently in negotiations with Lionsgate for a supporting part, according to The Illuminerdi. Snipes is being circled for a part in which he will play a swordsman opposite Keanu Reeves’ John Wick. This is all we know according to the article, although neither Lionsgate nor Snipes have commented on the claim.
Wesley Snipes is most recognised for his role in the Blade series. Snipes has been cast as General Izzi in the comedic sequel Coming 2 America, which was released on Amazon earlier this year. Other films in which he has appeared include White Men Can’t Jump, Passenger 57, Demolition Man, and The Expendables 3.

Laurence Fishburne was also rumoured to be returning for the John Wick sequel just a few days ago. In an interview with Collider, the actor confirmed his comeback, albeit he couldn’t reveal any narrative elements beyond that. He did note that the writing impressed him and that fans of the franchise should be satisfied with the final product.
This comes on the heels of news that Donnie Yen has been cast as Wick’s old pal in the movie. Bill Skarsgrd, Shamier Anderson, and Japanese-British singer Rina Sawayama are among the newcomers to the franchise who are reportedly cast in John Wick 4. Of course, we know Reeves will return to reprise his role as the titular vigilante, and Lance Reddick and Ian McShane are also slated to return.
On May 27, 2022, John Wick: Chapter 4 is scheduled to be released. Filming is expected to begin this month in Paris and Berlin, with other locations in Japan and New York City to be announced later. John Wick 5 is also still in the works, although no release date has been set
