The venerable game show Password is returning to television this summer, so get ready! Emmy winner Keke Palmer will host the new version of the show, which executive producer Jimmy Fallon is bringing to NBC. Bob Stewart, a hugely important television producer who also produced game programs including The Price is Right and The $10,000 Pyramid, is the creator of the American game show Password.
As the star of Jordan Peele’s next film Nope, Keke Palmer will be in command of the Password podium because she has agreed to host the NBC revival of the legendary gameshow. Palmer will host the programme, which comes from Jimmy Fallon, presenter of The Tonight Show. Palmer has been in series such as Scream Queens and Berlin Station as well as the feature picture Hustlers.
It happens over a year after the network approved Fallon’s late-night program’s inclusion of the 1960s game show revival. The traditional structure of the game will remain in this updated version. Fallon’s musical game show That’s My Jam got revived for a second season on NBC, and he also has Clash of the Cover Bands on E! This is his most recent project under his Electric Hot Dog brand. Fallon, Jim Juvonen, and Jennifer Mullin will all serve as executive producers on Password, while John Quinn will serve as the showrunner.
Fremantle produces “Password” in collaboration with Electric Hot Dog, Universal Television Alternative Studio, and Fremantle. Along with Jim Juvonen and showrunner John Quinn, Fallon serves as executive producer. On August 9 and 10, a special two-night debut of the hour-long game show will take place. NBC also released a first-look trailer for the reboot.
