I Am A Killer, Netflix’s emotionally charged and hard-hitting true crime series, will return for a third season, Deadline reported. The ten-episode seasons have taken us inside some of America’s most high-security prisons during the last two seasons, allowing us to learn about the backgrounds of murder suspects who are currently on death row. The second season of the program debuted over three years ago, thus the news of its comeback was lengthy in coming.
Is “I Am a Killer: Season 3” based on a true story?
“I Am a Killer: Season 3” is based on a true story. The third season of the real crime documentary series I Am A Killer on Netflix promises to be even chillier than the first two.
On August 30, Netflix will begin streaming I Am A Killer season three.
We can anticipate more of the same experiences being told and lives being changed in Season 3 when the film crews from Sky Studios’ Transistor Films sign their names on the visitors list and pass through jail security to meet their interviews. As they sit down with them, each inmate will describe their life, the crime that placed them in jail, the inspiration and drive behind their conduct, and what they think about it now that years have gone and they have done some time. For each prisoner, the talk will go in a similar way. One difference will be that Season 3 will only have six episodes instead of the previous two seasons’ twelve.
The program has so far done a great job of presenting all perspectives of the notorious death row convicts. Some prisoners who are happy with their situation have told us stories, and one of them even revealed the horrifying narrative of killing their own cellmate to get there. We’ve also heard from folks who really regret what they did or who continue to support their explanations for being imprisoned with no chance of emancipation based on the fight-or-flight response.
