Golden Kamuy Season 4 – Everything We Know So Far

Among popular anime, there aren’t that many that deal with historical fiction. With the exception of Viking-based series like “Vinland Saga” and, to a certain extent, “Demon Slayer,” set in Taisho-era Japan, most anime focuses heavily on science fiction and fantasy.

One anime, however, pays as much attention to its history as either of the previously mentioned examples, and that is “Golden Kamuy.” Taking place in early 20th century Japan, “Golden Kamuy” explores the history of the Russo-Japanese War and the culture of the Ainu people of Japan.

The series is based on the manga of the same name by Satoru Noda, the first season of the series debuted in Spring 2018, and it was quickly followed up by two more seasons.

From April to December 2018, the anime series aired its first two seasons. Two years later, the anime released its 3rd Season, which lasted two months, from October 2020 to December 2020. The animated series was a huge success, and fans eagerly awaited Season 4.

There is now a fourth season in the works, produced by Japanese animation studio Brain’s Base. The following is what we know so far about “Golden Kamuy” Season 4’s release date, characters, and plot.

A team of two adventures are the main focus of “Golden Kamuy” animated series. The next character is Asirpa, an Ainu girl who does not want the treasure but aims to avenge her father’s death, who was among the Ainu miners who found it.

As a team, they are searching for a hidden cache of gold ore, which can only be found in the form of tattoos scattered among the escaped prisoners. Asirpa has dark hair that grows down the middle of her back. Aside from this, she also has blue eyes with green tints, which are similar to her father’s.

Along with this, we also have our antagonist Japanese First Lieutenant Tsurumi, who will be returning in Season 4 as well.
