The Marvel Cinematic Universe is full of immensely powerful, highly wanted goods and treasures, but none of them compare to the titular Ten Rings, according to the latest trailer for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. When compared to the Rings, which have now been defined as “stronger than anything in your universe,” the Infinity Stones, Thor’s hammer Mjölnir, and The Incredible Hulk don’t even come close.
Michelle Yeoh’s character Jiang Nan alludes to the Ten Rings’ power, and the teaser then shows the legendary hammer, Tony Stark’s Iron Man costume, and The Hulk before revealing what the Rings are truly capable of. Shang-Chi suddenly does not appear to be the underdog that he appeared to be at first.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the 25th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will add a previously unknown world of martial arts and magic to the MCU. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, starring Simu Liu as the titular character, picks up ten years after the character ran away from his father.
He is soon lured back into his father’s secretive Ten Rings organisation, where he is forced to confront the past he believed he had put behind, despite his desire to live a regular life.
The film additionally stars Awkwafina, Michelle Yeoh, Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, and Ronny Chieng and is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a script he co-wrote with David Callaham and Andrew Lanham.
The Marvel hero’s relationship with his father, Wenwu AKA The Mandarin, played by Tony Leung, will be the focus of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The concept of taking a shattered family and a really dark, even abusive family background and seeing what that does to a child over time was something that has been showcased here.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will premiere in Los Angeles on August 16, 2021, and will be distributed in the United States on September 3, 2021.
