    First Look At Resident Evil: Welcome To Racoon City

    The first look photos for Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City have been released, allowing fans to see the updated incarnations of fan favourite characters from the games for the first time.

    Welcome to Raccoon City, written and directed by Johannes Roberts, is in development at Screen Gems for a November release. It is a reboot of the film series, with no ties to the previous instalments starring Milla Jovovich and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson.

    Johannes is bringing the Resident Evil franchise back to its beginnings with Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City. Several characters from the original video games will appear in the film. Several familiar characters appear to be very similar to their appearances in Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2.

    Leon S. Kennedy played by Avan Jogia and Claire Redfield played by Kaya Scodelario wait in a corridor with guns in hand, ready to fight on creatures infected with the T-virus, in a scene inspired by the Resident Evil 2 video game remake.

    Leon arrives in Raccoon City for his first day on the RPD just as the city is being ravaged by a viral outbreak, according to the video game story. Claire, who has also travelled to town in quest of her brother, joins him.

    Another image depicts four additional characters, all of whom appeared in the original video game. Albert Weskerplayed by Tom Hopper, Brad Vickers played by Nathan Dales, Jill Valentine played by Hannah John-Kamen, and Chris Redfield played by Robbie Amell, are all featured. Jill’s signature beret is lost, and Wesker’s sunglasses are missing, but other than that, the still appears like it was taken from the game.

    Another image shows Lisa Trevor, a renowned villain from the Resident Evil remake. Lisa has mutated into a terrifying beast buried deep within the Spencer Mansion after being exposed to harsh experiments by Umbrella for years.

    It is a dystopian movie with heavy influence from the video game. On November 24, 2021, Sony Pictures Releasing will release Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.
