Zone 414 is a sci-fi thriller about a private investigator who is played by Guy Pearce, who is assigned to find a missing girl in a special “city of robots” and ends up assisting a sentient android.
Set in the not-too-distant future in a colony of cutting-edge humanoid robots. When the creator’s daughter goes missing, he hires private investigator David Carmichael to track her out and return her to him.
To find the lost daughter, David teams up with Jane, a highly advanced and self-aware artificial intelligence. They put together the mystery as they move through the treacherous iron jungle, uncovering a crime that leads them to question the origins of Zone 414 and the true purpose of the “City of Robots.”
Bryan Edward Hill wrote the screenplay and Andrew Baird directed the film. Guy Pearce, Matilda Lutz, Jonathan Aris, and Travis Fimmel star in the picture. Saban Films is set to distribute it in the United States on September 3, 2021.
Zone 414 filming locations
Travis Fimmel was cast in the starring role of the film, which was revealed on August 28, 2019. Guy Pearce and Matilda Lutz joined the cast on January 21, 2020, with Pearce replacing Fimmel in a supporting role.
Principal photography was conducted in Northern Ireland from February 6 to February 29, 2020. The movie was primarily shot in Belfast.

The film was primarily filmed in Belfast, Ireland. Belfast is the capital of Northern Ireland. It was the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, which sank in 1912 after colliding with an iceberg. The Titanic Belfast, an aluminum-clad museum resembling a ship’s hull, as well as shipbuilder Harland & Wolff’s Drawing Offices and the Titanic Slipways, which now host open-air concerts, are all part of the restored dockyards’ Titanic Quarter.
Belfast has a temperate oceanic climate, similar to the rest of Ireland, with a narrow range of temperatures and rainfall throughout the year. Due to the warming influence of the Gulf Stream, Belfast’s climate is much milder than most other sites in the world at a similar latitude. This makes it a wonderful place for filming, all year round.
Belfast’s townlands are the city’s oldest surviving land divisions, with the majority predating the city. During the nineteenth century, Belfast grew from a market town to an industrial metropolis at a breakneck pace.
The architectural styles of Belfast’s public buildings span from a small group of Georgian structures to many instances of Victorian architecture, notably Queen’s University Belfast’s main Lanyon Building and the Linenhall Library. There are also several examples ranging from Edwardian to current, such as the City Hall and the Waterfront Hall. This also offers a wide range of backdrops for filming.
