While Russo Young clearly remembers her childhood as wonderful, the spot alluded to the difficulties she faced when her sperm donor, Tom, changed his mind about being a part of her life.
It’s clear that the three-part HBO series will offer in-depth insight into a first-generation lesbian family, which was involved in a landmark legal decision that would change the way gay families are treated.
