Where Can I Watch Baker’s Dozen?

Baker’s Dozen is a cooking game show, where 13 chefs, a combination of amateurs and seasoned professionals, go head to head to create the next viral dessert sensation and win the golden rolling pin and the cash prize of $5,000. This new and exciting cooking series is hosted by Tamera Mowry-Housley and former White House pastry chef Bill Yosses.

The contestants range from bakery owners and chefs to wedding DJs and former fitness trainers – from self-taught to highly trained. Each baker gets their own outdoor station for the first round, but only five of them will advance to the Bake Shop – the large tent-covered kitchen right out of every pastel lover’s dream.

In the first round, the bakers are to decorate a bouquet of cake pops and are judged on creativity, presentation and execution. Hence, it is less about the taste and more about the concept of feasting with one’s eyes. Although all bakers give their best to create memorable cake-pop bouquets, only five proceed to the next round.

Here they have a chance to meet, interact and get advice from a surprise guest judge The second round sees them baking, a baker’s dozen, i.e., 13 identical pastries, which will be judged on taste and uniformity. Only three bakers advance to the final round, where they get to meet the guest judge and have to concoct an epic dessert mashup.

It is a sweet, upbeat show that is easy on the heart, with a color scheme that is easy on the eyes. Tamera and Bill are gentle judges with a cheery sense of humor, making even the cheesiest moments funny; their experience in the kitchen only makes the show more interesting for the viers.
