Godzilla vs. Kong will soon hit the theatres and HBO Max and fans are more than excited to see the two titans lock horns. Many are busy breaking down every detail of footage and trailers released, while others are re-watching the franchise films that lead up to this installment. Being one of the most anticipated films of 2021, this Kaiju first took birth in 1954, thanks to Ishirō Honda and today, it has well over thirty films in its name. While fans wait patiently for the 26th of March to witness the battle of the year, Legendary Comics has given them something to look out for.
What will the program feature?
A publishing program of Godzilla vs. Kong will give fans the backstory they need to better understand the film better and dive deeper into both Godzilla and Kong’s histories, setting the stage for the upcoming film. The program will include an anthology of comic series fans have previously loved, two graphic novels, a behind the scenes book and a novelization of the titans and Monarch’s world. Along with this, a children’s picture book, and a board book, will also be available. Legendary Comics’ Robert Napton stated that the reason for this publishing program is to expand the cinematic universe while giving avid fans the extra detailing they need behind each titan’s story.
