The television show The Walking Dead first premiered in 2010 and is currently in its tenth season. The show captures the lives of a few remaining survivors in an otherwise zombie-infested world and has been adapted from comic books of the same name. This zombie horror series has had four confirmed spin-offs, with two of them still in their development phase. Fear the Walking Dead is an ongoing spin-off that started in 2015 and is considered by some fans to be better than the original show because it explores its characters. The Walking Dead’s current season will conclude after six additional episodes, out of which the last one will be especially exciting. In the finale titled Here’s Negan, we will finally get to see his wife through flashbacks as Negan reflects on all the choices he made that led him to where he is now. This episode will be an adaptation of the Here’s Negan comics that were standalone comics from ‘The Walking Dead’ franchise and explored Negan’s character in its full depth.
Trailer breakdown
The trailer begins with a shot of Negan in his famous cabin that he is later seen walking out of as it is lit on fire. We see Maggie and Hershel holding hands and giving the show somewhat closure, little Hershel looks a lot like his father, Glenn, wearing the baseball hat he does. Apart from getting a few Carol, Father Gabriel and Aaron’s shots, we also see Darryl, looking very much like he used to in his initial days and being followed by walkers. Negan is seen talking to someone and in what seems like a threat, he clarifies that the fact that he talks a lot is a good thing because when he stops, something terrible will certainly happen. This could be one of the first few shots that lead to all the events from his life that led him to become who he is today.
