    Where to watch “National Champions”?

A brilliant collegiate quarterback leads a players’ strike just hours before the biggest game of the year to demand fair compensation, equality, and respect for the athletes who risk their lives for their schools. National Champions is a film produced by STXfilms and Lionsgate that follows a star college quarterback named LeMarcus James (Homecoming’s Stephan James) and his teammate Emmett Sunday (Vikings’ Alexander Ludwig) as they organise a players strike to ensure that all college athletes are fairly compensated.

As seen in the video, Stefan explains how he and his teammates aren’t paid a dollar from the money generated by these football games, and that players who aren’t later picked into the NFL will be left without recompense or medical coverage for injuries experienced while playing the sport.

Meanwhile, their coach, James Lazer (J.K. Simmons), is paid $5 million per year, and he’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to important persons in the NCAA who make millions while the players get nothing.

Ric Roman Waugh’s National Champions is an upcoming American sports drama film. The story follows a famous college football quarterback who goes on strike just hours before the National Championship game.

It goes without saying that Stefan and Emmet organizing a strike produces a slew of issues, especially when it occurs only days before a National Championship game. Lil Rel Howery, Tim Blake Nelson, Andrew Bachelor, Jeffrey Donovan, David Koechner, Kristin Chenoweth, Timothy Olyphant, and Uzo Aduba play the characters who stand to lose a lot if the collegiate athletics system is reversed. Many more, fortunately for Stefan and Emmett, have joined their boycott, which has the potential to revolutionize not only college football, but the entire collegiate athletics system as well.
