An American home video and music company, Shout! Factory was founded in 2002, and it has provided genre fans with quite a lot of entertainment. Known formerly as Retropolis Company, it was founded by Bob Emmer, Richard Foos, and Garson Foos after they sold Rhino Records to Warner Bros. The company has only been growing since then as overtime it has absorbed Timeless Media Group, Peter Gunn, The Virginian Wagon, and many more. Having so much gone on has never stopped Shout! Factory from giving fans something better and bigger each time and this Valentine’s month, they are once again bringing something unique to the table.
Itinerary for the night
Titled ‘(Date) Night of the Living Deadm’ an event hosted by Shout! Factory on the 13th of February is about to be a treat for fans of horror. Starting 6:00 PM P.T. on Valentine’s eve, Shout!FactoryTV will have a marathon of some of the most popular zombie films, and the event will go on for the entire night. The first screening will be one of the two zombie-based episodes of ‘Mystery Science Theatre 3000’ titled ‘Zombie Nightmare.’ Once over, they will be screening the famous George A Romero film ‘Night of the Living Dead’ that has given birth to modern-day zombie films. This will be at 8:00 PM P.T. and go on till 10:00 PM P.T, after which they will screen the 1932 film ‘White Zombie.’ This film is often referred to as the first zombie film ever made. Finally, the night will come to an end with the second episode of ‘Mystery Science Theatre 3000’ at 11:30 PM P.T. titled ‘The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and became Mixed-Up Zombies.’
