A Glimpse Into The World Of Silent Hill While We Await The Release Of The Actual Remake

While the new rendition of Silent Hill by Konami is in the works, we have a chance to experience the Silent Hill world even before the release of the game. Mangaclub’s Whispering Hills mod gives us essentially what’s Silent Hill but within the game Fallout 4. According to reports, the first episode has finally been released.

Classic elements from the Silent Hill franchise added, including a chance to go back to School.

While using the mod, we get the familiar fog around the map that we knew Silent Hill for. It also includes the Midwitch Elementary School from the first Silent Hill game from the 1990s, and the City of Centralia, PA has been rebuilt within the mod, which had been the inspiration behind the Christophe Gans Silent Hill film. Other notable additions include Trever Henderson’s Siren Head roaming around in the countryside and more familiar Silent Hill additions such as Nurses, Lying Figures, and Mumblers. The Triangular Prism Head, Faceless Nurses and the Energiser bunny are added in the mod, and more pop culture monsters like the Demogorgon from Stranger Things.

More changes and where to find the mod to download and use with Fallout 4

The ambient sounds have been replaced with sounds from Silent Hill. A Non-Player Character has also been added in the latest update that gives players a questline to follow. Some reports state that, for accuracy, the mod used laser scanning data of Centralia’s actual town, to recreate the city within the game. The mod can be found on ModDB and NexusMods for download. As time progresses, we will see more additions in the mod and new companions too.
