Carlson Young finally talks about the major season 3 reboot of Scream: The TV Series. The series premiered on June 30, 2015 and concluded with its second season in October 2016. However, MTV renewed it for a third season and announced an entire reboot, with a new cast and setting. That sure was a shocker for the entire fanbase! We surely remember wondering how the cast felt about it.

Finally have someone from the original cast expressing how they felt about this reboot. In a conversation with Collider, Carlson Young tells us how the cast was shocked with the reboot and especially the way they ended the show. She talks about how it ends with cliffhangers and how it doesn’t feel quite “wrapped up”. However, she seems to be taking her entire Scream experience with a ton of gratitude since she even has “a fraction to do with the Scream Fanbase.”

Young also pitched an idea about how MTV could have wrapped things up with a great episode where everyone dies. She says, “Why don’t you just kill everybody? It’s Scream! But just my thoughts!” MTV’s series adaptation of the hit horror film franchise begins with a brutal murder in Lakewood which stirs memories of a crime spree from the town’s past. The story centers around a group of teenagers who become lovers, enemies, suspects, targets and victims of a killer who’s out for blood. The past seems to haunt some, intrigue others and has released a new executioner.
