    After Much Conjecture, Blizzard Finally Confirms The Diablo II Remaster

    ‘Diablo,’ a series of video games was developed in 1996 by Blizzard Entertainment. It was followed by eight more games including sequels and remakes of the same. Apart from this, the two upcoming games are ‘Diablo IV’ and ‘Diablo Immortal.’ Diablo IV can be played on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Now, after long speculation, another reboot of Diablo II has finally been announced with an official trailer reveal.

    Diablo II: Resurrected by Blizzard is going to be a remaster of Diablo II and an expansion of Lord of Destruction. The game will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X|S. Through this game, players will be able to fight the Dark Wanderer and his minions of hell to determine the fate of Diablo, Mephisto, Prime Evils and Baal. The game will feature- remastered graphics (heroes, monsters, spells, items), classic gameplay, updated battle and an epic story through five acts, to name a few. The trailer includes Mephisto, Baal and others calling upon Diablo in what seems like a battle cry. We also see some flashbacks to the original game and how this new version has been developed keeping the newer generation of gamers in mind.

    Fans knew what was coming all along

    Earlier this month, Activision, an independent video game software developer, was absorbed by Blizzard and only recently, the former has revealed that its wholly owned subsidiary Vicarious Visions will now be a subsidiary to Blizzard. Following this announcement, avid fans went berserk and are began running theories about how this may just be the first step towards them working on the remake of ‘Diablo II’ that fans have long looked forward to. Turns out, they were right even if their theories seemed a bit farfetched at the time.
