Fans of Alien should be aware that a whole new video game is on the way, and it will arrive sooner than expected. Aliens: Fireteam Elite will be published on August 24 this summer, according to Cold Iron Studios. They’ve also released a brand-new trailer for the game, which shows off the action-packed Xenomorph hunting that will be released in just a few months.
The video game was first announced four months ago, and it was a pleasant surprise. It is set in the same universe as the Alien film franchise, which began in 1979 with Ridley Scott’s Alien. It’s billed as a cooperative third-person survival shooter that pits your fireteam of seasoned marines against the ever-evolving Xenomorph threat.

The Alien franchise trailer starts out with some aerialshots. An unidentified planet with a ship flying above it. It’s a bleak setting. But, as a Xenomorph darts across the screen, we rapidly come to the crux of the matter. We get a sneak peek into what it’s like to be a Colonial Marine, blasting away at numerous enemies. There are also a number of new creatures that gamers will have to deal with.
As you and your fireteam desperately fight your way through four separate missions that offer new tales to the Alien universe. You’ll confront waves of horrifying Xenomorph and Weyland-Yutani Synthetic enemies alongside two players or AI allies. Create your own Colonial Marine, choosing from a wide range of classes, weapons, gear, and perks as you fight against overwhelming odds in this adrenaline-pumping survival shooter.
The game is currently available for pre-order. The price of Aliens: Fireteam Elite will be $39.99. For $69.99, you can get Aliens: Fireteam Elite (Deluxe Edition). The Endeavor Pass and the Endeavor Veteran Pack are included in this edition.
