There is no shortage of isekai anime in the Winter 2022 season. While Life with a Regular Guy Who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout, The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest, and She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man, Kendeshi are newcomers to the genre, Princess Connect!, How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, and Arifureta are all airing their second seasons.
In the Land of Leadale, or World of Leadale, needed to stand apart because there were so many people being transferred to other planets. This was achieved by the anime by using a slice-of-life approach (commonly referred to as slow life isekai anime). Leadale has some action, but the main focus is Cayna adapting into her new existence, and she is given so much control that there is hardly any suspense. There are several isekai anime, but only a small number of them are comparable to Maho Film’s adaptation of Ceez’s light novel series.
Keina Kagami is had to rely on life support in order to survive after a horrible tragedy. The VRMMORPG “Leadale” is the only place where she can find freedom. Keina loses her life when her life support system malfunctions one day.
However, when she awakens, she discovers that she has travelled 200 years into the future to the Leadale planet. She has changed into the high elf Cayna, who has gained OP statuses and lost talents, bringing her closer to the other people living in this planet. But wouldn’t it just so happen that some of those occupants be her “children” from character creation?
1. Wandering Witch – The Journey of Elaina
Both favorable and bad feedback on Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina has been received, with the majority of individuals falling on either end of the spectrum. Some people were able to get over the cute young witch Elaina’s heartless attitude upon learning of another person’s pain, despite the promise and delivery of a magical experience being carried out well enough.

To his amazement, Momonga is still fully awake as his character even though the clock has struck midnight, and moreover, the non-player characters seem to have grown identities of their own!
When faced with this unusual circumstance, Momonga orders his obedient followers to assist him in exploring and taking control of this new universe in order to learn what has caused this development and whether there are any other individuals experiencing a similar condition.
3. Bofuri – I Didn’t Want to Get Hurt, So I’ll Maxed Out My Defense
Kaede Honjou, the main character of the show, is a young girl who, up until she bought the Virtual Reality MMORPG NewWorld Online, had never played any video games.
Kaede picks a shield-class character she names Maple and invests every status point into vitality since she is so terrified of getting wounded (defense). Up until Kaede acquires a talent called “Absolute Defense,” this could appear like a novice error. She is now prepared to go on the thrilling adventures the game has to offer after learning a ridiculously powerful spell that can cancel out any damage.
An OP character and her experiences in the fantasy realm are the subject of both series. If you like to watch “Cute Girls Doing Cute Things,” then you should definitely watch this.
4. I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level
The anime that is probably the closest to In the Land of Leadale in terms of similarity is I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level, which emphasises the value of leisure and striking the right balance between work and rest. When Azusa is reborn into another universe, she resolves to take it easy because she was overworked in her previous life. This means murdering a few slimes every day. Asuza discovers that, after 300 years, she has grown tremendously powerful, but this only poses a danger to her tranquil existence.
I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level takes viewers on a fun and relaxing trip full of camaraderie and enchantment thanks to endearing characters, a classic but gorgeous fantasy environment, and scarcely any sign of danger.
5. My Next Life as a Villainess – All Routes Lead to Doom!
A young girl who bumps her head unintentionally regains memories of her previous existence as an otaku. She quickly realises that one of the games she used to play, Fortune Lover, is where she has been reborn. Sadly, the major opponent of the game is the persona she was resurrected as!
A girl who is transported to a dream realm is the subject of both shows. She must investigate the surroundings and modify her conduct to fit the local norms there. A tour that is both fun and soothing for you!
6. By the Grace of the Gods
Cayna (or Keina Kagami, as she was known) spent her final days confined to a bed and unable to move, with a VRMMO serving as her sole solace. As a result, it seemed only right that she would be reborn into a world that was largely tranquil and would enable her to live a life that was largely carefree.
Ryouma from By the Grace of the Gods had a similar tale, but he was overworked as opposed to ill. Ryouma is given the opportunity to launch his own company, produce a few slimes, make people happy, and just enjoy life when he is moved to a new planet. Maho Film also produced By the Grace of the Gods, thus even the animation is reminiscent to In the Land of Leadale.
7. Demon Lord, Retry!
Akira Oono, a developer who oversees an MMORPG, decides to permanently shut down the servers after a few years. However, he ends up appearing in the game’s world as a demon lord. But there, he discovers things he hasn’t made, such a female by the name of Aku. He embarks on a quest while exploring this magical planet to learn the truth behind his summoning.
You’re mistaken if you believe it to be just another harem demon lord anime. You might not be pleased with the plot’s development, and the animation isn’t particularly stunning. It is as generic as they come. There is a reason, though, that you may continue to watch it. It’s similar to a McDonald’s cheeseburger; you know it’s bad for your health, but it’s so tasty you don’t give a damn.
