20 Anime To Watch If You Love My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia has grown in popularity in recent years to become one of the most popular anime series. And for good reason: it does a great job with the superhero genre, has a wonderful comedy ambiance, knows when to get serious, has interesting characters with interesting skills, and has thrilling, action-packed combat scenes.

It also contains a lot of emotional and “feel good” moments, eliciting a wide spectrum of feelings from the audience. Anime is bigger than ever, and the shounen world just keeps growing.

This anime tells the story of a young boy named Izuku Midoriya who dreams of becoming a superhero one day. He has always wanted to be a hero since he was a child. Izuku’s unjust fate leaves him admiring heroes and taking notes on them whenever he can since he belongs to the small population of the world without any “quirks,” newly discovered superpowers that have steadily increased over the years.

However, it appears that his persistence has paid off: Izuku meets his idol and number one hero, All Might. The quirk of All Might can be inherited, and he has chosen Izuku to be his successor! A few months after completing grueling training, Izuku enrolls at UA High, a prestigious high school known for its excellent hero training program.

Whatever aspect of My Hero Academia appeals to you, there’s something else out there that has a similar feel. Here are 20 recommendations for shows to watch next if you’re a fan of My Hero Academia!

    One Punch Man

    One Punch Man

Saitama, who appears to be average, has a pretty unusual hobby: being a hero. He trained for three years, losing all of his hair in the process, in order to achieve his childhood desire. Saitama is now tremendously powerful, to the point where no enemy can defeat him in a fight. In truth, the ability to defeat evildoers with a single punch has resulted in an unexpected problem: he is no longer able to enjoy the excitement of battle and has grown bored.

This all changes when Genos, a 19-year-old cyborg, arrives and expresses his desire to be Saitama’s disciple after witnessing his abilities. Genos suggests the two of them join the Hero Association in order to become certified heroes who will be acknowledged for their positive contributions to society, and Saitama readily agrees, surprised that no one knows who he is.

And thus, the story of One Punch Man begins, as an action-comedy about an eccentric character who yearns to battle powerful enemies in order to rekindle the excitement he previously felt and maybe, just maybe, become famous in the process.

There is a lot of power in Saitama. It’s boring to be the strongest. The concept of looking for someone stronger or at least entertaining through life is a funny one, especially when no one is aware of how strong you are.

It’s impossible not to like Saitama, even the secondary and tertiary characters. It doesn’t have great character development, but that’s not what you’re looking for in this anime. Saitama is the strongest character. It’s meant to be that way.

While watching an episode, it’s easy to lose yourself in it, and you won’t believe how fast time moves when you’re entertained.

    Black Clover

    Black Clover

On the same day, Asta and Yuno were abandoned at the same church. They were raised together as children and learned about the “Wizard King”—a title awarded to the kingdom’s strongest mage—and pledged to compete for the position of the future Wizard King.

As they grew older, though, the obvious difference between them became apparent. While Yuno can wield magic with incredible power and control, Asta is unable to do so and must rely on physical training to try to awaken his powers.

Yuno receives a magnificent Grimoire with a four-leaf clover when they reach the age of 15, while Asta receives nothing. Soon later, Yuno is attacked by a person named Lebuty, who is only interested in Yuno’s Grimoire. Asta makes an attempt to attack Lebuty, but he is outmatched.

When he hears Yuno’s voice, he finds the strength to persevere even though he is hopeless and on the verge of defeat. Asta receives a five-leaf clover Grimoire, a “Black Clover,” which gives him the power to defeat Lebuty after releasing his inner emotions in a rage. After a few days, the two companions go out into the world with the same objective in mind: to become the Wizard King!

The story of Asta’s journey is well written and extremely satisfying. We feel like we have been on this journey with Asta all along. Everyone enjoys a feel-good underdog story. There has never been a bigger underdog than Black Clover.

The no power vs. all power dynamic is evident, but their interactions with one another are smooth and unique to Black Clover. There is a refreshing blend of personalities and traits among the Magic Knights and their squads.

    Naruto

    Naruto

The Kyuubi, or Nine-Tailed Fox, a huge demon that attacked Konohagakure, or Hidden Leaf Village, and inflicted destruction moments before Naruto Uzumaki was born. The village’s leader, the Fourth Hokage, sacrificed his life to seal the monstrous beast inside the newborn Naruto, putting an end to the Kyuubi’s rampage.

Naruto is now a hyperactive, knucklehead ninja who still lives in Konohagakure. Naruto has a hard time fitting in with the rest of the village after being shunned because of the Kyuubi within him, while his burning desire to become the Hokage of Konohagakure leads him not just to some wonderful new friends ut also to some deadly enemies.

It’s an action anime with martial arts fight sequences and a tone that occasionally shifts between serious and lighthearted, depending on the background and buildup. There’s no denying that Naruto is a hero you can identify with, and even his supporting cast is written brilliantly. It’s also nice to see the characters develop over time.

Naruto stands out from other shounen anime because of its character development and is probably one of the best in its category. With finesse, it captures both the excitement of being a child as well as the pain of being alone. Throughout the show, the tone shifts between dramatic and humorous, causing you to experience a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

Aside from being packed with action, Naruto also contains some of the greatest battles ever written and drawn in anime history. Many of the dialogues end up going down in history as life-changing quotes because of the depth of the writing.

Naruto is a show that every anime fan has either watched or is familiar with; it’s a true shounen classic.

    Ansatsu Kyoushitsu

    Ansatsu Kyoushitsu

When a mysterious creature reduces the moon to a permanent crescent, the students of Kunugigaoka Middle School’s Class 3-E are faced with a mammoth task: assassinate the creature responsible for the calamity before Earth meets the same destiny.

However, the monster, dubbed Koro-sensei, is capable of flying at speeds of up to Mach 20, which he readily exhibits, leaving any attempt to subdue him in the dust. Furthermore, the misfits of 3-E quickly discover that the bizarre, tentacled beast is not only invincible ut the best teacher they’ve ever had.

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu follows these junior high students as they hone their assassination skills and mature in order to stand up against the repressive school system, their own personal issues, and, eventually, Koro-sensei.

Among the anime and manga industries, this anime has one of the most unique and original stories and utilizes its main theme of assassination and education to its greatest advantage, allowing it to develop and characterize its remarkably large cast while expressing many other notable themes such as friendship, class and discrimination, failure and defeat, and human perseverance.

In Assassination Classroom, there are many underlying didactic and morally powerful lessons, which are not only motivational but also inspirational.

In addition to helping the students individually with their personal and educational troubles, Koro-sensei also seeks out their problems and shows them the beauty and bonds they share through assassination and education.

It is without a doubt that the underlying theme of assassination plays a very important role in allowing the characters to learn more about each other and about Koro-sensei and that, ultimately, this allows them to grow individually as well as collectively.

No matter how harsh or dejected reality may be, one must persevere and work their way through to achieve improvement.

    Haikyuu!!

    Haikyuu!!

Shouyou Hinata, a small-statured middle schooler, gets inspired after seeing a volleyball ace nicknamed “Little Giant” in action and revives his school’s volleyball club. The newly formed team makes it to a tournament, but their first match is mercilessly wrecked by Tobio Kageyama, who is known as the “King of the Court.”

Upon graduating middle school, Hinata joins the Karasuno High School volleyball team, only to discover that his sworn rival, Kageyama, is now a teammate.

Hinata, despite his exceptional jumping power, struggles to find his place on the team due to his small stature. Surprisingly, Kageyama has his own difficulties that only Hinata can tackle, and the team’s success appears to depend on the two learning to work together. Haikyuu!! is a thrilling and emotional sports comedy that follows two motivated athletes as they try to mend a heated rivalry in order to make their high school volleyball team the best in Japan.

It could be boiled down to pretty typical shounen stereotypes. There is an underdog, teamwork, perseverance, etc. But Haikyuu!! does a fantastic job of integrating all of these themes.

There are relatively inexperienced protagonists, and they are far from being the best volleyball players in the world. There are no inexplicable achievements and no crazy quick ‘level-ups.’ As a result, we received a well-written and paced story that follows the formation of the Karasuno to their entry into the high school volleyball circuit.

Players’ relationships develop in a variety of ways: in friendships, as teammates, as students in different school years, or as a cohesive team against other teams. Volleyball falls somewhere in the middle. You can see why it’s so beloved by the characters, and you can see how their love developed.

    Hunter x Hunter (2011)

    Hunter x Hunter (2011)

Hunters exist in the world of Hunter x Hunter to carry out perilous missions such as capturing criminals and seeking buried treasures in unfamiliar territory. Gon Freecss, a twelve-year-old, is determined to become the finest Hunter he can be as he hopes to find his father, a Hunter who had abandoned his young son a long time ago. However, Gon quickly discovers that fulfilling his objectives will be significantly more difficult than he ever expected.

Gon befriends the lively doctor-in-training Leorio, the vengeful Kurapika, and the rebellious ex-assassin Killua on his journey to becoming an official Hunter. To achieve their individual ambitions and desires, the four of them take the Hunter Exam together, which is notorious for its low success rate and great risk of death.

Gon and his companions go on a quest that will take them through many sufferings. They’ll meet a variety of monsters, creatures, and characters while learning what it takes to be a Hunter.

While a story about finding one’s father may seem simple, it is the path taken to achieve this that makes this series so special. There are several arcs in HxH, all of which are incredibly well-written. It has one of the finest scripts in the shounen genre; the depth and flow of the story, enthralling characters, and the vivid world-building create a captivating tale that can captivate its audience for hours on end.

A very impressive aspect of HxH’s story is its variety. In six story arcs, HxH straddles several genres. In addition, the series is also capable of undergoing significant tonal shifts with ease. This series does an excellent job of maintaining its viewers’ interest. You’ll find yourself breezing through most episodes by the time you finish watching them.

    Tiger & Bunny

    Tiger & Bunny

Those with special abilities in Stern Bild City are known as “NEXT,” and they can use their abilities for good or evil. A special organized group of NEXT appears on Hero TV on a regular basis, chasing down evildoers in order to bring attention to their sponsors and earn Hero Points in the hopes of becoming the next “King of Heroes.”

“Wild Tiger,” Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, is a veteran hero whose performance has dwindled recently, partly due to his inability to work with other heroes. After a disastrous season in which most of the other heroes surpassed Tiger, he is paired with a completely new hero, Barnaby Brooks Jr., who goes by his own name.

Barnaby, dubbed “Bunny” by his frivolous new partner, immediately establishes that the two are polar opposites. Tiger and Bunny must learn to work together, both for the sake of their jobs and to face the approaching threats within Stern Bild, despite the fact that they mix like oil and water.

This show is light. While modern-day superhero stories tend to go for “darker and edgier” plots, this show remains untouched by such baggage and instead opts for optimism and feel-good messages. “Believe in yourself. Be proud of who you are.” The entire time, you’ll be rooting for the heroes.

The characterization in this story is fantastic. Kotetsu is a dreamer, but not in an annoying way. He’s essentially balancing his personal individuality against his employers’ expectations, and his ability to compromise prevents long-term misunderstandings. The other heroes, particularly Barnaby, Kotetsu’s unwilling partner, appear to have their own agenda. The series excels at characterization through action rather than description. These aren’t just blank archetypes.

    Little Witch Academia

    Little Witch Academia

“A believing heart is your magic!” — were the words said to Atsuko “Akko” Kagari by her idol, the legendary witch Shiny Chariot, during a magic performance years ago. Akko has lived by these words ever since, aspiring to be a witch like Shiny Chariot, one who can make people smile. And so, even her lack of magical background does not prevent her from enrolling in Luna Nova Magical Academy.

When an ecstatic Akko finally departs for her new school, however, the journey is anything but smooth. She befriends the timid Lotte Yansson and the sarcastic Sucy Manbavaran after her difficult journey. She also stumbles upon Chariot’s wand, the Shiny Rod, which she takes as her own, much to her delight.

Unfortunately, Akko’s time in Luna Nova will be more difficult than she could have imagined. She is adamant about not being inferior to the rest of her peers, particularly to her self-proclaimed rival, the gorgeous and talented Diana Cavendish; thus, she depends on her willpower to compensate for her reckless behavior and lack of magical ability.

Little Witch Academia follows Akko and her friends as they explore the true meaning of being a witch during a period when wizardry is on the decline.

The characters in Little Witch Academia are honestly amazing and very likable in their own ways. Not to mention that they have fantastic character chemistry. Akko is a fantastic female protagonist. She’s a vivacious and driven young lady who is motivated to realize her dream despite her limitations as an ordinary girl with no witch blood.

The story is very enjoyable, has great world-building, great theme exploration, a strong, likable cast from start to finish, and great visuals. This show will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you smile with great joy and determination.

    Enen no Shouboutai

    Enen no Shouboutai

Spontaneous Human Combustion is a chaotic phenomenon that has afflicted humanity for years, changing regular individuals into flaming, ferocious creatures known as Infernals at random.

While infernals make up the first-generation records of Human Combustion, pyrokinetic—people gifted with the ability to harness and control their flames while staying human—made up the second and third generations. Fire Defense Agency, The Tokyo Armed Forces, and Holy Church of Sol created the Special Fire Force to battle the Infernal threat and discover the cause.

Shinra Kusakabe, a young and eager third-generation pyrokinetic known as Devil’s Footprints due to his explosive ability to fire his feet at will, joins the lively Special Fire Force Company 8. Shinra is hell-bent on becoming a hero who will save the lives of those threatened by the flame terror, upholding the brigade’s duty to extinguish the blazing Infernals and lay their souls to rest.

Shinra had imagined a hero’s game, but this isn’t it. The Fire Force is a confusing mess of fighting brigades, bizarre Infernal sightings are becoming more common across Tokyo, and a shadowy organization claims to have answers to the mysterious fire that killed Shinra’s family 12 years ago. Shinra tries to find the truth behind the burning mysteries that have kept him in the dark, despite several obstacles both within and outside the Fire Force.

Characters and the world are well-developed, and as the series progresses, you grow to care about the main characters and get immersed in their particular journeys. The fight sequences are the series’ biggest selling point.

If you want fast-paced action with slow intervals of nice and funny character interactions in between, then give this anime a watch.

    Mob Psycho 100

    Mob Psycho 100

Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama, an eighth-grader, has tapped into an inner wellspring of psychic prowess at an early age. When he sees the inherent danger in his abilities, however, the power rapidly becomes a burden. Mob’s main current purpose for his gift, which he has chosen to suppress, is to impress his longtime crush, Tsubomi, who quickly becomes tired of the same tricks.

To gain control over his abilities, Mob enlists the help of Arataka Reigen, a scam artist who claims to be a psychic and exploits Mob’s abilities for profit. Exorcising evil spirits on command has now become a routine part of Mob’s life.

However, the psychic energy he exerts is barely the tip of the iceberg; if his vast potential and unrestrained emotions run berserk, a cataclysmic event that would render him completely unrecognizable will be triggered. The progression toward Mob’s explosion is rising, and attempting to stop it is futile.

Mob Psycho 100 can be described in a million ways. In one word, it’s exciting. At first, the story may seem simplistic, and in the beginning, it is, but the series begins to explore a variety of topics, such as morality and what it means to be different. However, the story is not just about Mob alone but also about other characters.

As far as anime is concerned, Mob Psycho 100 looks and feels very different. Style-wise, it’s very over-the-top, exaggerated, and weird, and it fits the tone of the series. You won’t see its style very often, so it’s supposed to be weird and quirky. However, the series is much more than a comedy. In the series, there are a number of moments when things get serious and emotional.

    Kimetsu no Yaiba

    Kimetsu no Yaiba

Tanjirou Kamado has been shouldering the responsibility of supporting his family since his father’s death. The Kamado family, while living in poverty on a remote mountain, is able to live a relatively tranquil and happy life. One day, Tanjirou decides to sell charcoal in the nearby village to top up his earnings.

Night falls when Tanjirou returns, forcing him to seek shelter in the home of a strange man, who warns him of flesh-eating demons lurking in the woods at night.

When he returns home the next day, he discovers a horrific sight: his entire family has been slaughtered. Worse, his sister Nezuko has been transformed into a bloodthirsty demon, leaving him as the sole survivor. Tanjirou promises to avenge his family and stick by his sole remaining sibling, consumed by fury and vengeance.

Tanjirou will go to any length to battle the demons and safeguard the last remnants of his beloved sister’s humanity, working alongside the mysterious Demon Slayer Corps.

You don’t always need a complex plot and a large cast of characters for a show to be good. Kimetsu no Yaiba proves this perfectly. For fans of dark fantasy adventures, it is like a love letter.

Tanjirou Kamado, our main protagonist, is a pretty straightforward character, just as the narrative is. He is kind, gentle, selfless, and caring.

While his determination in the face of overwhelming odds is admirable, it is very typical of protagonists in shounen. The love he bears for his family is one of his most defining characteristics. He will go to any length to keep his sister, Nezuko, safe, the only family he has left.

    Bungou Stray Dogs

    Bungou Stray Dogs

A mystical tiger has been plaguing Atsushi Nakajima’s orphanage for weeks, which only he appears to be aware of. The 18-year-old is unexpectedly exiled from the orphanage, leaving him hungry, homeless, and wandering the streets after being suspected of being behind the unusual happenings.

Atsushi saves an eccentric man named Osamu Dazai from drowning while starving on a riverbank. Dazai, a crazy suicide enthusiast and supernatural detective, has been looking into the same tiger that has been terrorizing the kid.

They solve the mystery with Dazai’s partner Doppo Kunikida, but it puts Atsushi in a difficult situation. As strange events unfold, Atsushi is pushed into joining their firm of supernatural investigators, where he and his numerous intriguing coworkers take on unique cases that the police are unable to handle.

A special group of literacy authors gets together. What happens? The result is Bungou Stray Dogs. Only this time, they possess special abilities in a world full of mystery, crime, and all kinds of other dark phenomena that will take your breath away. Bogou Stray Dogs is proof that supernatural fiction can still work in an attractive manner.

It gives us a view of a select group of people with their own individual talents, characteristics, and lifestyles that make us wonder about their everyday lives. It looks pretty cool on paper, with a cast of badasses named after famous literary works. Additionally, their special powers also stem from their well-known literature.

In general, Bungou Stray Dogs does not require any previous knowledge of literature to watch. Characters, themes, and storyline provide enough entertainment so prepare yourself for an exciting ride. When you look back on it someday, you’ll realize how much fun it was.

    Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

    Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

Tsunayoshi Sawada isn’t any good, to put it lightly. He’s clumsy, talentless, and hopelessly in love with Kyouko Sasagawa, the school’s idol, a girl far out of his league. His classmates have dubbed him “Loser Tsuna,” and he appears to be the personification of failure disguised as a middle-schooler.

When Tsuna meets the mysterious Reborn, his life is flipped upside down; Reborn just so happens to be a hitman and, more shockingly, a baby! Reborn is sent from Italy’s most powerful Mafia family with the difficult task of training the drab middle schooler to succeed the legendary Vongola family’s ninth leader, who is about to retire.

Loser Tsuna has a long way ahead of him, but with the support of his new criminal associates and his odd home tutor, he might just succeed.

Through the course of the anime, Tsuna grows and matures, becoming stronger and stronger each time he fights his enemies. He encounters well-written fights that will keep you glued to the screen.

Characters in the story are diverse, with a wide range of personalities following an unlikely protagonist. The characters are very well portrayed; you can’t help but love all of them. They change greatly over the course of the anime, and it’s worthwhile to watch them grow up.

Every single character has at least one good quality, whether they’re the protagonist, a supporting character, or even the antagonist. The main cast has great chemistry, and you root for them throughout. You’ll be jealous of Tsuna, he has the perfect range of friends, all with flaws that fit their characters, and they all have a strong loyalty to him.

    Jujutsu Kaisen

    Jujutsu Kaisen

Yuuji Itadori, a high schooler who indulges in baseless paranormal activities with the Occult Club, spends his days in either the clubroom or the hospital, visiting his bedridden grandfather. When he unknowingly comes across a cursed item, this leisurely lifestyle takes a sudden turn for the strange.

A chain of supernatural events ensues after Yuuji swallows the said object, which turns out to be a finger belonging to the demon Sukuna Ryoumen, the “King of Curses.” As a result, he finds himself thrust into the world of Curses, dreadful creatures fashioned from human malice and negativity.

When Yuuji discovers his own newfound powers, he experiences the threat these Curses pose to society firsthand. Introduced to the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School, he begins to walk down a path from which he cannot return—the path of a Jujutsu sorcerer.

Jujutsu Kaisen quickly gained popularity after its inception. If you’re a fan of shounen or not, you’ll enjoy this show. There’s more to it than shounen.

The plot of Jujutsu Kaisen is not lacking. Throughout the story, the main character isn’t interested in becoming the leader of the village, group, etc. Throughout the story, the boy wants to die peacefully, he wants to make others happy, and he wants to be remembered as a good person. Having a connection with a character can make watching a show even more enjoyable, and this is another great aspect of this anime.

Jujutsu Kaisen’s world-building and power system are unique and have an interesting concept. The power system is based on cursed energy. This energy is derived from negative emotions or spiteful intentions. It is these negative emotions that produce negative energy that can be used for attacking. There’s more to come from this anime, and it will leave you satisfied overall.

    Ao no Exorcist

    Ao no Exorcist

Humans and demons are the two faces of the same coin, as are Assiah and Gehenna, their respective worlds. Like in ghost stories, possession is the only means to travel between realms. When Satan, the king of Gehenna, is unable to find a suitable host, he remains imprisoned in his realm.

In a last-ditch effort to conquer Assiah, he sends his son instead, hoping for him to grow into a vessel that the demon king can control.

Ao no Exorcist follows Rin Okumura, who seems to be a typical yet troubled teenager until he is ambushed by demons one day. When he gets to know that he is Satan’s son and that his demon father wants him to return so they can conquer Assiah together, his life is flipped entirely upside down.

Instead of joining the ruler of Gehenna, Rin decides to train as an exorcist so that he can fight alongside his brother Yukio to defend Assiah together.

The storyline with respect to the characters and their motivations is actually believable. This isn’t some far-fetched idea with characters who have no relation to the plot. As a result, the way Ao no Exorcist’s story is intertwined with and through the characters is very realistic, and this makes the story very enjoyable to watch.

Rin has a well-developed character who stays true to his motivations and personality. His character supports his actions and vice versa. He wants to become stronger and deny his demon self because he was not brought up in a demon-like way, and the demons have harmed his family. He provides comic relief with his slacker attitude. The story is extremely compelling, and the characters are funny and genuine.

    Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

    Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

Simon and Kamina grew up in a deep, underground village hidden from the fabled surface. Simon is a shy young boy with no real ambitions, whereas Kamina is a free-spirited loose cannon intent on creating a name for himself. Simon discovers a mysterious object while excavating the earth one day, which turns out to be the ignition key to an ancient war artifact they named Lagann.

With the help of Yoko Littner, a fiery redhead with a big gun who explores the world above, Simon and Kamina fend off a surprise onslaught from the surface with their new weapon.

The sky is now visible in the aftermath of the battle, prompting Simon and Kamina to embark on a journey with Yoko to explore the surface’s wastelands. They soon join the struggle against the “Beastmen,” humanoid beings who terrorize humanity’s remnants in powerful robots known as “Gunmen.” Despite numerous setbacks and hardships, the group heroically fights these new enemies with other survivors to reclaim the surface while eventually revealing a galaxy-sized mystery.

Gurren Lagann is simply breathtaking. It is an endlessly thrilling journey from humble beginnings to the most fantastic of endings—an absolute must-see. Throughout the series, there are so many memorable moments, lines, and ideas that they imprint themselves into your very soul.

Although Tengen Toppa has an amazing story, it is not about the story. This isn’t a logical progression, strategy, conflict of interests, world-building, sci-fi exploration, or any of the other ideas in it. It’s about the deconstruction of them all. Aspects of the show arouse and reinforce the viewer’s zeal for this cause. Tengen Toppa is also excellent at moving people emotionally. When you watch it, you will laugh, cry, and be moved.

    Soul Eater

    Soul Eater

The Death Weapon Meister Academy, a technical academy led by the Shinigami—Lord Death himself—is located in Death City. Its goal is to raise “Death Scythes” for the Shinigami to use against the fantastical world’s numerous evils.

However, these Death Scythes are not made from physical weapons; but are born from human hybrids with the capacity to change their bodies into Demon Weapons, and only after they’ve consumed the souls of 99 evil beings and one witch’s soul.

Soul Eater Evans, a Demon Scythe who only seems to care about what’s cool, desires to become a Death Scythe with the help of his straight-laced wielder or meister, Maka Albarn. The duo study and works alongside  Death the Kid, the Shinigami’s own son, who is an obsessive-compulsive dual wielder of twin pistols Patty and Liz, and the hotheaded Black Star and his caring weapon Tsubaki.

Soul Eater follows these Shibusen students as they go on missions to collect souls and safeguard the city from external threats, all while working together under the scorching sun to improve their mental, physical, and spiritual growth.

This sounds pretty formulaic, nothing you haven’t seen before. It may seem that this is the main goal in the first few episodes, but soon after, you will realize there is actually a deeper story developing. Soul Eater isn’t a complex or clever story, but what happens during the story makes it watchable and interesting. The action is always present, and there’s humor, but there can also be serious moments when required.

In this anime, the characters are the heart of the story. Soul Eater is renowned for its characters. The cast is colorful. Even the supporting cast is memorable. Almost every character gives you at least one reason for liking or disliking them.

    Inazuma Eleven

    Inazuma Eleven

While other schools in Japan strive for the title of the best soccer team in the country, Raimon Middle School’s soccer club, Inazuma Eleven, is fighting to stay alive after nearly disbanding. Mamoru Endou, the grandson of Inazuma Eleven’s first generation goalkeeper and team captain, accepts the challenge of getting the long-forgotten club back in shape. He’ll need some aid and a lot of luck to accomplish this.

Shuuya Gouenji, a gifted young soccer player who has given up the sport, gives Mamoru hope. Mamoru is adamant about getting Shuuya and other fresh recruits to join his team at any cost. Are his zeal and commitment enough to heal the club’s condition? Is there any longer any hope for the team?

Inazuma Eleven focuses on the characters, which are unique and well designed. There is character development, and even though there are a lot of characters, the show manages to balance quantity and quality. Everyone has their own story and their own problems to overcome. In this series, characters play an important role, as they do in any anime, and each one has its own distinct personality and charm, and the connections between characters are strong as well.

The amazing supernatural techniques can be so awesome, ranging from fire tornadoes to ghost hands, that you want to repeat them on the field in real life.  When the main characters score a goal, you just want to cheer together with the crowd, and you feel bad for them as well when they lose. Simply one of the most enjoyable animes. If you’re searching for an excellent sports anime that’s also enjoyable and has a strong cast of characters, this is a must-watch.

    Shingeki no Kyojin

    Shingeki no Kyojin

Titans, monstrous humanoid beasts, nearly wiped out humanity centuries ago, driving mankind to hide in fear behind massive concentric walls. What makes these monsters even more terrifying is that their desire for human flesh appears to be motivated by pleasure rather than hunger.

Humanity’s survivors began to reside within defensive barriers to ensure their survival, resulting in a century without a single titan encounter. However, when a colossal titan manages to breach the apparently indestructible outer wall, the fight for survival against the man-eating abominations is reignited.

Eren Yeager joins the Survey Corps, an elite military unit that combats the ruthless humanoids outside the security of the walls, after experiencing a tragic personal loss at the hands of the invading creatures.

Shingeki no Kyojin follows Eren, along with his adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman and his childhood friend Armin Arlert, as they join the brutal war against the titans and race to discover a way of defeating them before the last walls are breached.
